You can actually modify the timestamps according to the timezone you are in.

Once again, you'll need to open your Control Panel by clicking My Controls up top.
Under Options click on Board Settings.
You may then edit the base time zone based on the timezone you are in.
Click on Change My Account Settings to implement changes.
