I liked it a lot! Saw it in the theatre when it first came out. Loved Matt Mconaghy (sp?) and Sarah Jessica Parker....they were great, I thought!

I agree! I thought it would be mildly funny but it was much better than I had expected also. It was similar to "How To Lose A Guy In Ten Days" which I thought was hilarious.

I just saw it over the weekend. I liked it. Matthew is beautiful and charming and I love Sarah Jessica Parker. It's good.

I just rented it @ the video store today on a tip from someone saying how good it was.

yeah I watched it a couple of weeks ago, much better than I anticipated. Loved when his friends tied him up in the closet towards the end. :)
I watched some other Chick flicks (Family stone) and the one with Jenniffer Annston..they were both totally forgettable..

I just saw it a few nights ago, and it was okay - the roomate was the best part of the movie for me. I found that this movie followed the romance formula to a tee - which drives me batty (I like some originality in the plot outcome). And I absolutely love SJP, and from far away camera shots she was beautiful. But on the closeups she looked downright OLD. I really think they could have cast the female lead a little better.

I don't normally go for romantic movies (I love mystery and horror movies lol). But this one had enough comedy to keep me interested.

I mean that it has almost the same story line as every other boy-girl movie. Boy meets girl and they fall for each other. One or both of them has some big secret or has alterior motivations. The other eventually finds out about the secret and they have a huge fight and breakup. Then the climatic ending where something brings them back together and all is forgotten.

HAHA, I've just seen too many movies with this same plot line in the last little while so I guess I am a little jaded. And as I stated earlier, I am a horror/mystery/action fan, I'm not really into to chick flicks lol.

now that you mention it, there is alot of movies with that story line. I think it plays on the theme of how love will conquer all, and nothing stands in the way of destiny. Kinda predictible, sorta like the movie Serendipity, HA! :)
