So which animals do you all own?

And tell me there names. I'm trying to name a new pet.

Well I screwed up the poll. Dangit.

I will just name all my pets for you :)

1 betta fish
1 horned lizard (aka a horny toad)
1 chinchilla
2 cats
2 bearded dragons
1 hamster
1 leopard gecko

they are all wonderful.
If you want something fun that is REALLY easy to take care of...get a lizard. Unless you are afraid of crickets, because that is what they eat. Except my Horned Lizard, she eats harvester ants.

Well I own two dogs, four cats, one mouse, and a snake.

I'm getting a Beta fishie, and I'm trying to think of a name for him.

One is Sheba and the other is Samantha
Then we have a tarantula named Terror.
Bird named Lucy
Dog named Brother Bill
and last but not least a Turtle named Myrtle

I have a fish named Goldie(had another fish along with him, but the morning after I bought it, :thud: lets just say it wasnt a pretty sight!)

3 cats - Gracie, Rosie (my baby, I raised her from a kitten) and Lilly

1 guinea pig - Gimli

I have four dogs, 3 males. 1 female, they are 16,14,12, and 6 years old.

I have a cat named Ryo-Ohki. It's after a Japanese cartoon. He's a beautiful Blue Persian.

Might I suggest naming the little fish Elliott??

I've got 2 bengals, 1 half ragdoll/half siamese, and 1 no specific breed cat. (At least I don't know what breed. She looks to be half munchkin, have bobtail. LOL)

I used to have mice :( they 've all passed away years ago.
Ginger, Pistacio, Davey, Roo, Monty, Geneva, Riddel, and Marcy. They were all so different front each other :/
Pistacio got mated with a house mouse that got into the cages >< so she had lots of babies i didnt know what to do with. i couldnt keep them cause they were too many and too wild. so i had to let them go wiht they were big enough. It was still hard to do though ><

I have a golden retreiver named "Murphy".. He just turned 5.
Over the years I've had 2 American cocker spaniels,3 Alaskan malamutes,and another golden before this one.He's my buddy now since it's just the two of us. :wub:

I have 2 cats, Sabrina and Tasha, and a dog named Ralphie. Seeing all of your pet birds is making me consider getting one or two!

I think for guinea pig you should add any small rodent such as hamster, mouse, etc...I have an adorable little hamster named Gilligan.

We have a dwarf smokey grey bunny named Mr. Momiji (pronounced mo-MEE-gee) and a beta fish named Tama (after my drumset lol)


I guess we like Japanese names?? (if I got a pug I would name him Bonsai...but I am allergic ;( )

I have two male cats that are the love of my life since my daughter moved out. Their names are Lionel (orange tabby) and Quincy (tux).

I've got a red, short-haired dochsund named Rocky and a female cockatiel named Rosie. The dog was owned by my friend who couldn't keep him anymore. He's the best dog I've ever owned.

I have a horse named " Baby" She is 10 and appendix bred (half Q horse half Thorough bred)
She is a retired racehorse/Broodmare, and I am teaching her to trot. :) All she knows is walking or running,( well more like hauling bootie )..no inbetween.
But it is too hot to ride right right now, so she stays in the barn, I turn her out to pasture at night, since she is black, she would burn up in this heat
I also have 2 dogs named Juno and Slugger

Currently have a fox terrier/basenji mix dog named Tess.

Used to have three fish -- Simon, Garfunkel, and Ferdinand, but alas, they are with us no longer.

I have a loveable little shih-tzu named Gizmo. I've had him for 10 years. My husband calls him a "girl's dog". Oh, well, sometimes I prefer his company to the husband's (lol), but that's just me.

We also have been feeding two feral cats we call Mama and Squeaky - they had a total of 9 kittens a couple of months ago, and we managed to give away all but 3, who are living with us called Chloe, Trouble and Buffy. (They need homes anyone in Richmond - please!!) and now both of the ferals are having kittens again!!! Help!!! I am currently feeding a total of 8 cats!!! and more babies on the way!!!

I have 3 cats-Boo, Kizzie, and Katiebelle. I rescued Katiebelle in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.

Lindaqt, consider humanely trapping those feral cats and getting them spayed/neutered so that you can stop the influx of kittens. I'm currently working on trying to humanely trap a group of ferals and get them fixed. There are just so many unwanted cats who end up dying at the shelter...so it's rewarding to be able to stop cats from having more unwanted babies.

I have one cat who will be turning a year old next month, and his name is speedy. He is the most adorable cat you've ever seen...he's an orange tabby, and he's the friendliest cat i've ever seen. Whenever someone comes to my house and sits down, he'll run right up and get in their lap, even if he's never seen the person before...he's like a little person, always curious and wanting to greet everyone who comes around.
