They have a totally unique sound.. it's kind of folksy and indie rock...

I love them! They're just fun to listen to. I tried finding their cd in town but no luck. I'm just gonna have to download it.

"Tune Out" is my favorite song. "She Doesn't Get It" is a close second. :yes: :thumbsup:

Just saw The Format live! THEY WERE AWESOME! :woohoo:

They are such nice guys and so talented. They told us that they got cut from their label because they were told "you can't write songs that will sell" basically a bunch of crap from "The Man". I love that they are sticking true to what they want to sound like and not compromising their sstyle just to make a couple of executives happy. LOVE that "stickin' it to the man" stuff. :D

If you like a band with a fresh original sound then take a listen.. you will not be disappointed.
