Hello fellow E-Trainers!!!

Here's a 30 second recap of my Elliott Weekend:

Friday - I was the ONE and ONLY person that saw Elliott at the White House!!! I was walking by the gate where he was getting cleared to get in to the WH (he was late, but looking GOOD!!!)

Got interviewed LIVE by Fox 5 at 5:30pm and was on the air!!

Met Claudette at the Intermission - took pics with her, gave her 2 custom-made Elliott t-shirts that we got made for our Yahoo Group. (see below for link)

Met Big Planz!!!


Saturday - went to the JDRF Fundraiser, saw/recorded Claudette singing "It Had To Be You", got to be one of the few Reporters to be able to be with the Family!!

Attempted to purchase tickets to the SOLD OUT Richmond show --- got 4TH ROW TICKETS!!!!! (GOT A WAVE from Elliott!!!)

Scored BACKSTAGE PASSES -- and met the man himself!!! ELLIOTT YAMIN! :woohoo: :thud: :wub:

Now I may have met you as i was also an ENN reporter and in the back room with Elliott and the family...were you with the group of girls that was with Call4Elliott?

I was also at the JDRF fundraiser...i was sitting in the front in the table for 103.7 (i just stole it lol). Were you near the front?

I am trying to remember if i met you. I feel like i did but am having a hard time putting your name with a face!!!!!!!!!!!!

We recorded the entire song Claudette sang and am trying to get it uploaded to post.

Sounds like quite a few were lucky enough to meet Elliott LOL. I was just happy to have gotten to get a pic with ACE when he signed by the busses LOL. But I sure wish I could have met Elliott as well.

Yeah, Etrain ryders have cool connections I guess...cause those Meet N Greet areas aren't that big and several folks here got back stage. Yeah for Etrain Station! :cheerleader:

It shows that Etrainers are dedicated as all get out!

I thoguth the same thing, i was thinking about how few people get backstage passes and meet and greets, yet so MANY etrainers seem to get them. SO that shows we are one dedicated diehard bunch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

there were not a lot of people in that backroom at richmond. And i would say i saw about 15 etrianers at least.

Aren't you the one who came and begged my friend for her used VIP party ticket so you could go meet Elliott? I recognize your picture. Another lady with you asked my other friend for hers,too. I know it was you! :yes:

Wendy - just an update for you in case you had not heard. While I am VERY SORRY that you did not win the Richmond Idol contest, I wanted you to know that it was won by a short hispanic woman anyway - Laura Gonzales was the winner.

Linda - I saw that on foxrichmond.com yesterday!! Thanks for the info!! I'm very happy for her and I wish her all the best! I'm ready for the 14th!!

Were the backstage passes different from the VIP party passes? Dufus me thought they were one and the same.

So Elliott was not backstage for those who had backstage passes?

I am extremely grateful to Brandon and Tx for helping me get in, and for Call4Elliott alerting me that the other ENN Reporters were able to get passes and where i should go to try to find the person who gave them theirs.

It was a team effort and i am very appreciative of their efforts.

I'm sure she wasn't trying to exaggerate. This is a very uncomfortable post...why call her out like this? I think things like these are supposed to be carried out in private PMs

I agree with the above post. A PM is the appropriate course of action if you have an issue with someone or their post. You look to be new here so maybe you didn't know. We treat each other with respect at this forum.

Wendy - thanks for sharing your DC experiences. I went looking for you early for your FOX interview but never found you. You were very kind to me earlier when I got my tickets and you emailed all the info about the Metro-wanted to say thanks in person. The concert was great wasn't it. Loved Elliott, the others were OK too. HAHAH

I must say, I truly feel so fortunate that so many things happen within just a couple of days. DC really loved Elliott and Richmond - WOW - the energy level in the Coliseum was indescribable!!! I have NEVER EVER gone driving around and traveling for ANY singer/group EVER ... and now Elliott is in our lives and I'm acting like an E-MANIAC!!! :drool:

Love - I'm so glad that my Metro info helped you out. I'm so bummed we didn't get to meet. I rushed from the White House to the Verizon Center to make sure I made it in time to meet with Fox 5. Bad thing is that I forgot to leave it recording!!! :blink: (If ANYONE in the DC area recorded it, please let me know!!! Thanks!

Here's a couple more: I got to see Claudette again during intermission in DC. I had 2 of the custom-made t-shirts that Robyn had made and was going to give her 1. The other one turned out to be way too big, but when she saw it, she said "Sweetie, I can give that to Elliott if you want" HECK YEAH!! :woohoo:
