Title: Harleywoman's Richmond Experience

Well, I arrived in Richmond Friday afternoon, not a long trip from Manassas. Went to Bailey’s for dinner with some of my fellow E-Trainers, Farmgirl & Drummergirl (my roommates), the sweet Amandarhea, Nana2160, DoxieChick & her husband, TXRangerette, & Crowe (he’s such a sweetie). It was fun getting to know everyone. My excitement is beginning to build, oh wait, maybe it’s just the jello shots (you got to have dessert, right) we had back at our hotel hangout room. :D
Saturday, I still can’t believe all that I did in one day. First, FG, DG & I went to the JDRF party. Thanks to Nana2160 who saved seats for us. There are no words to describe what a thrill it was to hear Claudette sing along with Elliott’s tape. She was “working” it, so cute. Then it was off to the Tobacco Company for the pre-show party, meeting even more fellow E-Trainers including Deniz, so glad to finally meet you girl.
Finally it was time for the concert which was amazing despite the heat. Everyone was good & I enjoyed all of them. I was glad I spent the money for floor seats. Okay, my excitement builds even more when I get a text msg. from my son (he had a nosebleed seat), saying that he sees Elliott standing off to the side of the stage watching the show.
Chris builds us up by asking if we’re ready to see our hometown boy, and finally Elliott comes out. The crowd was so loud, you couldn’t even hear him singing. Elliott just blew me away, he is so cute and I love the way he works the stage. I couldn’t believe I was hearing him live, it felt like a dream, he’s so good. The other guys come back out with Ace carrying a towel for Elliott (did I mention it was hot). I love the bond the guys have. They harmonize so well together. Elliott reappears later for the group songs wearing the Braves jersey which I thought was great, & yes he is #1. :rocker:
Concert is over (me sad), but there was still the party at the Cherry Lounge hosted by BigPlanz, whom I got to meet. I also finally got to meet Claudette. I swear I froze, didn’t know what to say & don’t remember what I said, she’s just adorable. As reported by my fellow E-Trainers, I did do a little dancing.
Our little group finally made our way back to the hotel, all of us very hungry. We gather in the hotel hangout room for a 3 AM pizza party, no better way to end a great day.
Sunday, the day I dreaded because I had to say goodbye to some really great people. I will miss them and hope I’ll get to see them again in October. I will keep them in my heart. :wub:

Drummergirl and I will miss our roommate Harleywoman! Harleywoman and I discovered that we have a lot of things in common and so much alike, for instance, our little idiosyncrasies! :rotfl: I won't tell you what they are! :rotfl: I will tell you that HW is one wild dancer! :rotfl:
