I feel like it was just the ending of idol and NOW its august 1st.. Honestly.. there is 1 month left of summer vacation! (to those of us in school).
so I wanted to know.. how are you all going to spend the rest of your summer?

I'm going to Outer banks, NC in the middle of the month and I cannot wait! it's my favorite place in the world.

MY semester starts the day after Labor day .. but thank god this is my last year!! then I'll finally have my BS (haha) degree in Nursing.

anyways.. i wanted to talk about fun things since i absolutely dread the end of summer..

going camping in stoneybrook park with all the waterfalls and whatnot.

i have a week band camp in mid august for marching band. other than that, just chillin, and trying to take it slow!

My school starts this month! :cry: :cry:

My biggest thing left for the summer is the Idol concert, and that doesn't take place until the weekend after school starts!

LUCKY! i have to go back to school on Aug. 7!!! UGH! :blink:

Well, this is the first year that I don't have to go back to school in the fall ( I graduated in June). But, I am going to enjoy the last month of nice weather and maybe take a trip back to my hometown, or go camping with my boyfriend and his parents. If none of this happens, I'm at least going to go swimming...lol. Oh, and I will be moving into a new apartment next month....

Man...time goes quickly... :blink: Ah, well...it's not another 30-or-so days until I have to go back to school. :D

Anyway, I have dance camp starting next week---but only on Tuesday-Thursday nights. ;)

I'm so glad that I don't have to do work over the summer.. I planned to read over the things that I learned last semester but haha.. that didn't even come close to happening.. IN FACT my bookbag is sitting in a corner in my bedroom with my books still in it from the last day back in April. haha.

DJ, let me know how your trip to NC goes! I am saving my money for airfare to fly to Asheville NC, to visit a friend. Round-trip tickets are around $1000.00 lol. I live in Vancouver, BC and the farther from home I have been is Anaheim(sp?) California.

Oh, I just graduated from high school...I'm taking a year off and then going to college...not sure what career I'll be pursuing, but I want to do either teaching or something in the medical/dental field.

Oh, your going have fun!! Wish you could scoot on up to Richmond while you're in the area!

WE ARE TAKING A MUCH NEEDED VACATION TO HATTERAS THE LAST WEEK OF AUGUST BEFORE THE KIDS GO BACK TO SCHOOL! :)

We are going to London and Paris for 2 weeks next week...I was so excited about it, but now I'm so worried that they will sell the State Fair tickets while we're gone, and they will sell out by the time we come back. I don't know if I can have access to a computer while we're away...waaaaahhhh!!!:cry:

Actually, I think we are staying over night somewhere in Richmond. I THINK...
