Over on the AI board, this was posted:
DO NOT BUY THAT CD OR PURCHASE THE SONG FROM ITUNES. The PROFITS go STRAIGHT to AI. Elliott gets no points towards ANY albums sold. Jeez, you think you'd guys would know that by now. AI just wants your money. Which is why I'll download it JUST FINE.
Is there any truth to this? Does anyone know?

This is one of those situations that is not black and white. Yes, E doesn't make any money from the sales directly. But producers and record companies will definitely notice if MMFL goes soaring to #1 so E would benefit indirectly immeasurably. It's one of the best ways at this point to tangibly show our support for E and help him get the record contract he so richly deserves. You just have to swallow giving more money to AI. But if it wasn't for AI, we'd never have even heard of E. So I say let's do it! Let's download MMFL from iTunes and Elliott to #1!

Hell, I might even buy it several times - just to boost it up. How much is it - $1.99 - $2.99? Let's all buy it again and again. I paid a bunch of money to text vote all those times - same thing, only better. Right?

Thanks a bunch for all the feedback. I was just curious about what everyone was saying over at the other board. Didn't know if it made a difference as to where you went to purchase.

I bought Elliott's videos and the mp3s from AI. I wish they would have had the video of Trouble. I really liked that one.
