Description: I PLAN ON IT

:woohoo:

I CAN'T WAIT!!

This is a sad subject...

I run a monthly club night at a bar around here (rochester, NY) and the night our one year celebration falls on is September 23rd...which we then changed to September 30th so I can go to Bridgeport with DJ for the AI concert...

and what day is SYTYCD tour in town...yes, that's right...September 30th :(

aww how sad!

I guess it really isn't as sad as I am making it out to be because I would much rather go to the american idol concert again :rotfl:

But, I know someone who works at Shea's (the Aud. where the dancers will be) and could have gotten front row tickets.

But, AI comes before SYTYCD!

Well, I think missing out on front row tickets is a sad thing! (also, I think waiting till Sep 23 to see E is a sad thing! :P )

But seeing/hearing Elliott will be worth it for sure!

pilatesmom - August 4, 2006 08:35 PM (GMT)
that is sad. I am sure the Dance tickets won't be as expensive as AI.

Berkana - August 4, 2006 08:36 PM (GMT)
They aren't coming near me. And they are during school days. Middle of the school week. So it's a no go for me either. :(

I would have to agree with you on that one!

IBelieveToMySoul - August 5, 2006 06:09 PM (GMT)
Closest to me is Minneapolis/St. Paul, which is the same reason that I'm not going to the AI tour. :(

I HATE NORTH DAKOTA!

Triceradon - August 5, 2006 06:46 PM (GMT)
They're going to NJPAC which is exciting!

I wanna see how much tickets are before I decide whether I'll go or not though... I hope they're not too much.

ElliottIsDeBomb - August 6, 2006 02:45 AM (GMT)
I've checked ticketmaster.com. For the couple of dates they have up so far it seems that the tickets may cost anywhere from $25-$50.

Check http://www.ticketmaster.com/artist/1051702 for more info.

alysoup - August 6, 2006 06:32 AM (GMT)
that's really cheap compared to AI!

Triceradon - August 11, 2006 05:00 PM (GMT)
lol, wow, I don't know if it's the same pre-sale password everywhere, but for NJPAC, the password is "Nigel"

:grouphug:

Our tickets go on sale tomorrow at 10 AM. The prices range from $30 to $60. Compared to AI pries this is a bargain. I am going to set the "alarm" so I remember to get the tickets right at 10.

:bunny: :dude: :bunny: :dude: :bunny: :dude:

I also noticed they are up to 31 dates...that is a great schedule for the very first time out. I am so happy for all the top ten!

Berkana - August 11, 2006 07:33 PM (GMT)
Aww ya'll are so lucky. I wish I could go, I'm jealous!

Why can't you go?

Because it's too far away and it's during a school night. In the middle of the week.

Tickets for NJPAC, I believe go on sale at 12noon tomorrow... I wanna be within the first five rows... In the center. That'd be awesome! :rocker:

Ha. We almost bought tickets today, when the presale first started, but we didn't get tickets we wanted. We almost settled for seats further back but figured since the seats were going toward the back SO FAST there probably wasn't that many seats during the pre-sale to choose from... Well... It was over 200 seats I know, but I don't think they can give the pre-sale people all the seats in the front...... At least, I hope not.

Anyways, I'll get online a few minutes early! Just in case they start selling a wee bit sooner than scheduled.

Bummer! :(

Triceradon - August 12, 2006 05:14 PM (GMT)
Got our tickets. Not in the first five rows. Or the center. But it's on the floor... Not too sure if I would have wanted that as opposed to like, say... the grand tier, but opposed to what we DID have a choice between (fourth tier, lol!) I'm pretty pleased....

We had row L tickets with all three of us sitting together but lost them somehow. Now we're not sitting together... But we did well considering after we lost those seats, we called and got two tickets on the floor (not together) Then a single one opened up on the internet (weird how it just "opened up" after I did continuous searches ending in nothing) and we got that. So we're all on the floor.

Also, the guy on the phone said that seats might open up in the future if producers and whoever choose not to use them... But... we already have our tickets so I just might purposely AVOID going back later to see what seats they have,

Well, it's been an eventful last hour and fifteen minutes or so. :D

To those who get close up seats though, how'd you do it? Phone? Internet? My internet started going really slow when the time came... I suppose it was the traffic...

Going to the concert could be fun. But to choose between Idol and SYTYCD, I'm choosing Idol.
