as most of you know, elliott is going to perform at the VA State Fair... I was on ticketmaster, and I kept refreshing the page until it said, "ON SALE NOW" When it said that, I went to buy the tix, and typed in
best available" [The best seats are A,B,C] A being on the left, B the miuddle, and C the right...I got section E which is directly behind B... Not so bad , I guess... But where did those A,B, && C tickets go that fast? I got it RIGHT when it said On Sale Now!! aahhhhh! oh well, at least I get to see my E.


ps- I CANT WAIT FOR THE STORM!!!! OMG! ITS GONNA BE AWESOME!!!!!!!!

I did the same thing, and I ended up with section B row R. I guess it's just the luck of the draw.

same thing happened to me. I also got Section E! i wonder if they are like REALLY bad seats? :(

You know what, the Ampitheater is a rather small venue (4000 seats?) I think that there really isn't a bad seat in the house.

I kept passing up seats until I finally got to the point where it was giving me mostly the back sections. Kept trying and finally ended up with Secion A, Row T. Was afraid not to take them at that point. Even after I bought them, I still kept trying for better ones, but no luck. I'm happy, I guess.

dang! lol... i wish i had a, and i see that people have already put tickets on ebay! LOL.... E isnt that bad, I've sat there before, in the back, and it really is not that bad!!

Actually, Section "B" is the coveted spot. A and C are on the side, B in the center. But they are all good seats..the ampitheatre is not all that big. I got Section C row K. I am happy with that. I am not going to purchase tickets for twice the price on EBAY for closer. I spent more money on upgrading tickets for Richmond then i should have, this section C is fine with me.

As long as you dont get lawn seats, you are doing okay. lawn is when it starts getting crappy and if it rains......bad luck for those concert goers! And the bad news is, we tend to always get a lot of rain at state fair time. :(

THEY NO LONGER HAVE THE LAWN SEATS. THE RACEWAY TOOK OVER THAT SECTION SO THE ONLY SEATING IS IN THE AMPITHEATER ITSELF-6200 RESERVED SEATS. EVERYONE WHO GETS A TICKET SHOULD HAVE A PRETTY GOOD VIEW! :)

All 6,000 seats, filled with everyone E-TRAIN! It's gonna be EMAZIN as usual!!

I'm sure no seats are bad. And sometimes venues don't release the best right when they go on sale. It's weird. I wish I could be there, but I live nowhere near Virginia. Hope you all have fun!

Make that 4 other E-trainers! :D I had my sister get them for me since I was unavailable to do so at the time and she started trying at 9:55. The first time that she got through Section A came up. She called me and I told her to grab them. I figured You all got through to section B before she could. Looking forward to it!

It's funny that I , like alot of you started trying at 10:55 ...hitting the refresh button until ON SALE NOW came up.
It gave me secton C(way in the back)...I tried again, section E, than F, then D, then C again.....Finally at about 10:15 or 10:20, Secton B rox X seats 10 & 11 came up. I really wanted to hold out for closer to the front, but was afraid to ,so I grabbed the section B ones.
I guess I am happy with those. It could have been worse.
Does make you wonder about Ticketmaster though!!!!!!!!!!

I MAY BE CONFUSED SO PARDON ME IF I AM- SECTION C IS NEXT TO SECTION . IF YOU GOT SECTION B, ROW X, ISN'T THAT ABOUT THE SAME AS SECTION C "WAY IN THE BACK"? JUST CURIOUS BECAUSE I'M IN SECTION C, ROW U, AND I THINK I HAVE PRETTY GOOD SEATS.

Any of those front sections are definitely going to be good seats. Do not worry.

I think the person was just saying that the C section seats were way in the back of the section. But that's just my guess...

Ironically, I got section C an hour AFTER they went on sale. I think what happened is everyone was online at ten looking, but not all of those people were buying. So the seats were not available to some of us at that time.

However, I don't trust ticket master either. I aM getting really tired of them scalping their own tickets. I dont put it past them to put a hold on the best seats to auction them off at higher prices.

Can I still buy tickets? Or am I too late? :(

Well, I want to buy tickets for me and my friend who is also an Etrainer. It's just that I need to buy myself a plane ticket and fly down with Ally (the Etrainer). It's really expensive..but how much are the tickets?

Concert tickets are $40 which includes admission to the fair, and a portion of the proceeds going to JDRF. Party tickets are $20 which includs a full "comfort food" buffet dinner and all the fun activities.

Oh man, those are great prices...but considering that I live in Massachusetts, how much do plane tickets go for these days?

That I can't say - but Jet Blue and Air Tran fly into Richmond if you can get to somewhere that flies in - maybe Air Tran flies in from Boston.

I keep getting worked up about this...this could be my only chance, but because I'm in a financial rut, I don't know if it'll work. I just want to have a chance to see him once... :(

Good morning fellow E-Fans! Just one week from today - we get our first solo Elliott concert! More than three songs of all E, all the time! Are we ready?

Best available seats are now in row DD and that means we are few hundred seats from a sell out I think. Maybe when E goes on TV tomorrow morning, he will charm the rest of Richmond into buying tickets! Can't wait to see you all next weekend! :woohoo:

I`ll be driving in from Massachusetts. Like most of you we got section E but I am VERY happy just to be there lol I`ll take lawn seats at this point as long as I can hear Elliott sing!! Are tickets to the fundraiser still available? I asked for them once but was strapped because of my mom having to go back into the hospital. Would appreciate it if someone will respond. I would need 9 tickets.?

Does anyone still need tickets? I know it's a little late, but due to some changes of plans, I have three extra ones for section C (row Z). No mail or FedEx transactions, please. I'll be bringing them with me, so if you're from Richmond or nearby and need a few, just PM me and we can work out the details. I'm selling them at face value ($40 each) plus the $7 per-ticket ticketmaster charges.

They're selling row DD now as best available. Getting close to a sellout!

Interesting note about ticket sales. For Elliott's venue of 6,000 there are a few rows in the back still for sale, probably translates into a few hundred seats still available.

India.arie is performing on the same night at a much smaller venue (less than 3,000 I think) and there are still not bad orchestra seats available. Tickets for her concert are cheaper than Elliott's tickets.

India.arie has a pretty hot new CD out in her genre right now and still did not sell as high a percentage of the venues tickets as an artist who has not released a recording - ok he is the hometown boy, but we just paid big bucks to see him a few months ago. I think this says good stuff for Elliott's future.
