I've just learned that Elliott Yamin will NOT be singing with Stevie Wonder on Tuesday. That rumor is FALSE. That's all the information I have right now. I'll keep you posted.

I'd have been very surprised...to much of a chance he could SHINE AGAIN. And...a star like SW from another recording group that may be interested in him....I'd be really surprised.

You're probably right, Nik. Elliott and Stevie would have upstaged them all. If Chris gets to sing by himself with a band, Elliott deserves a solo spot, too. Anything less would be very unfair!

El's not going to get a solo spot. He'll sing a duet with most likely with one of the girls...Mandisa or Melissa.

They don't want the "one they didn't sign" to upstage the ones that they are choosing to sign. Hence, look for Chris, Tay, Kat and Paris to get the most solo time possible. It's just the way the businnes it.

That's unfortunately, exactly what they are going to do. They've made it known that they aren't going to sign Elliott. They can't afford to have the unsigned one upstaged the signed ones. The funny thing is that they know Elliott is capable of this, hence they go out of their way to make sure it doesn't happen. It's flattering if you think about it that way.

E will still be the elephant in the room next Tuesday/Wednesday, no matter if they relegate him to checking hats and coats by the door.

And if Kat stinks up the joint with her final "performance" (as we all know she's capable of doing), then how will TPTB look? They can orchestrate everthing but how she actually sings. ROFLMAO at the prospect. :lol:

This is the most disgusted I have ever been, and all over American Idol. Why not just give Elliott the ONE good thing they could?? They've already robbed him of the title, treated him like crap, etc. etc. etc. If Elliott does NOT get to sing a solo, and Chris does, I am seriously going to throw something at my TV!!!

i am not surprised at all... considering how elliott had been unfairly treated by TPTB.

I think they've planned the Chris with Live thing before because they assumed he'll be one of the finalists.. and they fell a little bit short of pimping Chris really when he left as the top 4 finalist.... so i wouldn't be surprised if Wednesday is going to be a Daughtry show.

yeah, if chris gets his own solo, i would be bummed. chris didn't handle his departure well at all, and really doesn't deserve much respect or airtime in my opinion. JUST my opinion, which i am free to say on this board without getting bumped, thank god!
