Title: Mandisa Out Tonight
lindagt - August 17, 2006 01:41 AM (GMT)
Apparently Mandisa was out sick tonight. Get well soon Mandisa!
I guess they are all getting it - passing it back and forth....This is a six day run without a break. AI is the debil (once again we are saying that)
atlantiskat - August 17, 2006 01:48 AM (GMT)
THEY ARE ALL GETTING SICK. THEY MUST BE WORN OUT FROM THE TOUR. YOUR RESISTANCE TO ILLNESS GETS LOW WHEN YOU ARE EXHAUSTED AND THEY SURE MUST BE AT THIS POINT. :etrain: 4LIFE
realitymom - August 17, 2006 01:51 AM (GMT)
You would think this would give the tour schedulers' for AI & big ole clue that PERHAPS this tour a bit too grueling. Space out the dates, extend the tour longer to allow for at least 2 days off a week...something. All the sickness prolley won't change anything for next seasons tour...the creeps.

I am so concerned for Elliott. He seemed to be sniffling during that PodCast interview. I sure hope he's feeling better.

I noticed that too EY! Maybe they need to disinfect those buses once in a while! Maybe they all need to take Airborne? Did the AI Tour contestants get sick like this in years past?
aiken4canthony - August 17, 2006 02:44 AM (GMT)
i feel so bad that they all keep getting sick!! I'm so glad that they all performed at my show!

Off topic a bit, but does "Airborne" work well? I like Sugar Free Cold Eeze tablets the best. They don't taste too good, but I've gotten used to them. I've stopped colds with just one of them by dissolving one in my mouth as soon as I start to notice a sore throat. I've also used a lot of the Zicam products, but haven't had as much success with them.
I notice E sounded sick during the
interview too.
ElliottYAddict - August 17, 2006 04:10 AM (GMT)
Oh no! I wish that they would all be healthy. :( I am starting to get nervous that Our E will be sick for my show next week. Please God no! I paid a pretty penny for my tickets and don't know what I would do if he wasn't able to perform. :(

My daughter gives her little girl Airborne during school season, when all of the colds, flus start, and it has really helped! I've got a friend who's mother would not live without the Zicam. When I start to come down with something, I immediately take Alka Seltzer Cold Plus, and it usually knocks it out for me. I guess everyone is different, but I would say they need to start taking something to try to prevent getting sick! Especially, since they are in close quarters!
catielyn - August 17, 2006 04:44 AM (GMT)
Oh NO! It's getting so close to my concert. I don't want to sound selfish, but PLEASE don't let Elliott be sick next week! I've waited so long to get to hear him live!
ElliottCat - August 17, 2006 05:33 AM (GMT)
Airborne works VERY WELL, especially if you take it every day when you are healthy. Once you start with any symptoms, i.e. sore throat or sniffles, just take it four or five times a day.
SEND ELLIOTT SOME!

send them all some!
This is getting ridiculous. It's like bootcamp.
They should re-name idol "so you think you want to be a pop-star?"
WTF!
Frendz - August 17, 2006 06:42 PM (GMT)
Wow, they're all getting sick. :( I hope Mandisa gets well soon, and that Elliott stays well.

RICluvsnmissesE - August 17, 2006 07:51 PM (GMT)
AI = EL DIABLO (what's that? some kind of spanish fighting chicken hahahah for those of you who have seen talladega nights!)
ps. el diablo is the devil in spanish
lindagt - August 17, 2006 10:00 PM (GMT)
Mandisa is out again tonight - she must really be under the weather. YaminMachine is reporting that only 3 Idols went to Meet and Greet today. Don't know if everyone's feeling bad - or that they had to go on a BUS from Detroit to Indianapolis overnight and everyone is just too pooped. Then to Louisville tonight, then to Illinois the next night. I'm afraid some folks are going to miss out on meet and greets for the next couple of days.
DJ babblefish - August 17, 2006 10:19 PM (GMT)
this suckkkkks.
Honestly, the fact that only 3 of them made it to meet and greet. WTF???
They are working the idols like slaves and :madashell: ...
Not that my anger means anything. It just sucks to see a great group of people being used like this in the name of the all mighty dollar.
lame.
I hope they are able to feel better soon...
PoorMe - August 18, 2006 12:12 AM (GMT)
I was thinking of buying tickets for the St. Paul concert since some are available, but now I would be too worried that Elliott would be sick and wouldn't be able to perform.
Its really too bad how everyone is sick. They must be looking forward to the end of this thing by now. I feel sorry for them. :(
Danielle.Hearts.E - August 18, 2006 12:27 AM (GMT)
Ay, this is terrible! Get well soon, Mandisa! :(
You know, maybe this is a sign that human beings can't adapt well to the INSANE schedule!
VACellist - August 18, 2006 01:58 AM (GMT)
Poor Mandisa! She was my second favorite part of the show!
Their schedule IS insane.......no mainstream artist tours on the schedule that these kids do. (I know, they are not really kids, to me they are!) They wouldn't stand for it!
I hope they know that if they can make it through the AI machine, everything will seem that much easier once their out! Argh....I hate the way they are "enslaved" through this process, but at the risk of sounding cliche...
"short-term sacrifice for long term gain, discipline is remembering what you really want."
:grouphug: <-----for the tour folks!
