Title: Can You Make MP3's
Description: from video?

ElliottIsMyIdolx3 - August 18, 2006 04:46 PM (GMT)
I have found a couple of really great videos of the guys singing "Patience" and I really like the song. I would like to get it for MP3 for my player. Is there some way you can transfer it or something? Just wondering incase anybody knew? :)

There are a couple of ways to do this depending on the source file.

1) Use a converter on the source file to convert to AVI or to MP3.
2) Edit the video and publish to DVD -- the audio track is split out. I sometimes do this with Sony Vegas if the source is AVI or MPEG video.
3) Capture the audio from your sound card when you play the video with something like RiverPast Audio Capture or Audacity.
