Unfortunately we messed up the second roll of film so did not get pictures of the whole second half of the concert--boo! BUT we got some great shots of Elliott and Taylor from the night before. Hope you like them!!!!! Have never posted pictures here before so wish me luck!! Just click on the link--I think! :wow:

And here's my story to go with the pictures, finally!
We managed to get into the Workplay concert on Monday night at 8 P.M. There were almost two hours of Taylor's Little Memphis Blues Orchestra (without Taylor) working the crowd into a frenzy with two lively sets. Finally it was announced that the Original LIMBO band would play--including Taylor and he came out to wild fanfare. Taylor looked like he might have lost 20 lbs, and was wearing a grey suit jacket and jeans and looking good and very energetic. Almost immediately after doing one song, he very excitedly introduced Elliott, who was adorable, wearing a scully cap and black shirt, which showed off his broad shoulders and nice muscles. At one point someone in the audience gave him a baseball cap as a gift, which he immediately put on for a few minutes, then going back to the cap. He sang several songs with Taylor and the audience roared so loudly you could barely hear them. Elliott seemed super-happy, and danced a lot in a very darling way and clapped his hands to the beat. Then Elliott went offstage after doing several numbers, and Taylor performed with his band a couple of songs. After that Elliott returned, then Ace came on and the three of them performed, and finally Bucky came in at the end. They were all treated with wild applause by the audience and roses were thrown at Taylor. I felt E received the loudest applause, but I could be biased. I've never seen him look so happy and relaxed, and all the guys seemed to really love and enjoy each other-giving hugs and solid support. I noticed E was chewing gum now and then. It was a casual fun raucous hour-and-a half of joyous music with the Idols, mostly E and Tay with LIMBO. They sang so many songs--from Use Me to Dance to the Music--can't remember them all! I was so happy to see Elliott and although quite near to him, was not able to get close enough to talk to him or get a picture but was able to give him a gift. I said, "Elliott-a present for you!" and handed him a bag through the crowd. He said "Thank you!" and took it, but had to go backstage before his next set. I pray to be able to meet him tomorrow, but just to see him and hear him perform is quite a thrill! His voice and delivery and total performance left me breathless!
And then the concert at BJCC:
I've lost my voice from screaming at last night's concert! We did a LOT of praying and God was good! Our top row seats were changed-and improved twice by the ushers--without our even asking--and our seats ended up being probably the best in the house. We were about 5 rows back and just to the left of the stage in a special area in the stands designated for disabled and their friends. We saw Taylor's Dad and family seated much farther away.
Because we were in Taylor's hometown, we only spotted a few brave Elliott fans here and there--one wearing a shirt that said "I see Heaven in Elliott," one waving a sign that said "Elliott rocks my sox!". I wore a T-shirt with a picture of Elliott and ENN badge , but my husband refused to let us wear our greenglow necklaces and bracelets and security wouldn't let me back in if I went for my big-heart Elliott sign. While looking for the afternoon meet-and-greet, we were diverted by security into waiting for entrance to a 5 o'clock party at the same venue--that turned out to be a Soul Patrol party. We met lots of gracious fans who admired my T-shirt and said they loved both Elliott and Claudette and many said E was their second choice and that they voted for him, too!
The concert was wonderful but I really had eyes only for Elliott. He made each song sound new (Never Too Much, MMFL, Trouble, Patience), and did some adorable dance moves during the group segments. He wore the red and white baseball cap a fan had given him at Workplay the previous night throughout the whole show--and on his way to the busses--where the crowd screamed for him. Elliott received a beautiful reception in Birmingham--the crowd ate him up!!
