Well how close are you to Richmond - I have TONS of new kitties. We feed a couple of feral cats who had kittens. I still have in my house a couple that were born about 4 months ago and I named one of them Trouble in honor of Elliott.

My cats that have names are

Mr. Pretty Kitty
Mollie Mac
Tiger

and hangers on

Trouble
Chloe
Buffy

and a number of brand new kittens - Bo - if you are anywhere near me you can have one or several!

I was thinking of Cocoa

EDIT:
 I didn't post this. My brother must've been logged in to my account. I do like the name I guess.

I know this seems kinda dumb but i had an orange cat once I named him cheese ball :D

pilatesmom - August 23, 2006 10:03 PM (GMT)
i had an orange tabby named Taz

I named by black and white one Jeter after my favorite baseball star.

Another one named Liam, cause I love that name.

my female grey tabby is Miranda, after Prospero's daughter in Shakespeare's The Tempest.

Duncan is cute. Our dog's name is Lucy so I considered naming our cats Fred and Ethel but the kids just didn't get it. They are now called "red" and "blue" because it took us so long to name them that the colors of their respective collars became their names.

nikkib703 - August 23, 2006 10:22 PM (GMT)
When I was a kid, my aunt had a cat named Zippy Motorhead. She was THE coolest cat ever. She lived to be 17 years old. We still talk about her sometimes.

haha! thats a cute name! my cat was only 7 :( he was an outdoor cat and we are assuming something got him. The new kitty will be an indoor cat as long as it has no desire to go out.

Bonanza,

Here's a website with some ideas for names :). I usually study a new pet for a couple of days before a name settles in.

Well, it's official! Yesterday morning we went to a shelter and got my baby kitten! Thank you all so much for your name suggestions. It was so hard to choose a name because everyone's suggestions were awesome! I loved them all! We finally decided to go with Emerson. He is an 8 week old baby orange kitten and he loves to explore! He is doing great and is adapting very well. I will get pictures on ASAP!
