I posted this on AI - super quick version of my experience....for those of you that remember the radio interview with Elliott on Star 94.1-- you may be interested. They were great and dedicated ALOT of time to Elliott the Friday of the concert. They replayed our conversation and played his music, etc. They have been awesome giving Elliott the "attention" he so deserves! They also talked about the concert today, and spent a bunch of time talking about how great he sounded. This is great since they are the biggest station in SD!!

So here is the (VERY short version)story:
Star 94.1 invited me to go to the Press Conference with one of the DJ's(which was supposed to involve interviewing all 10 idols before the concert). I was super excited. When I got out of my car in the parking lot, the girl I was with said "is that Elliott?". He and Ace were walking up to about 20 fans outside the arena. I immediately started trembling...I couldn't decide whether to go try and meet him at that time, or just wait for the press conference. So I (very shyly) walked over toward him but still away from all the fans. He started walking towards me and that's when I said "what the heck, I'll quickly introduce myself". YAY! HE DID REMEMBER the radio bit! He gave me a big hug, we talked a bit and we had a quick picture taken. The fans started running over to him. I told him "I'll let you go!" Thinking I would see him later. I wish I would have asked him if he was attending the Press Conference as I assumed they all were....BUT only Ace, Lisa and Paris attended. I WAS DEVASTATED!!! I went to the LA show the next day and attending the after party in the Arena Club...SO EXCITED TO MEET ELLIOTT!! Of course....HE DIDN'T SHOW UP!!!!!!!!! I was DEVASTATED again!! They were all there except for Elliott, Taylor and Katherine. I had an absolute blast though. CHRIS IS INCREDIBLE....he is just the most awesome guy.

Oh my gosh...it's a good thing you decided to say hello when you did! From what I remember at your first interview...did you get to sit near his sister during the concert?

We have been looking for you - so glad you posted. I'm glad you got to meet Elliott and he remembered you. Sorry you didn't get more time with him - but it sounds like a lot of the performers are especially busy during the California shows - But at least you met him!

I swear I bugged and bugged 94.1 for a meet and greet and all they kept saying was they would look into it for me...I totally admire your eloquent letter about Elliott, and might I add you took the words right out of my mouth!!! Looks like you had a blast regardless!lol

Wow!! What wonderful photos--you look just like a movie-star!! Maybe Elliott's new gf was afraid for you to get too close to him! LOL! You are so pretty and sweet--and such a darling daughter, too! I just LOVE all these wonderful stories about meeting Elliott. I remember your story that aired too and it sounded a lot like how I feel. That little girl in the picture with me is my niece....my sister's daughter. Yes, she is adorable. Her name is Tea....pronounced Taya. She loves Elliott too!!
