Anyway, the board currently has a setting that makes all threads that have been inactive for over 30 days "disappear." Basically, any inactive thread just stops showing up- it's not deleted, it simply moves to an "inactive thread" area; an "invisible area," if you will! For now, the way to retrieve them is to figure out who started the thread, do a search for all topics started by that member, find the thread you want, click it, post in it, and POOF- the thread returns! We're planning to adjust the settings shortly, to avoid this hassle!

At the bottom there is an option where it you can view all threads from "The Beginning". As a default this is set to 30 days. I think you can change this in your user control panel as well.

Well, as it stands there is NOT a way to change this using the control panel, but the first part of your statement is absolutely correct! I had originally used the other method because I wasn't sure if RIC was referring to threads she had started in other subforums as well. But, Lene, you're right about the option at the bottom of each subforum: you can adjust your settings to show threads that have been active in the past 30 days, past 60 days, from "The Beginning," or one of the many other options!
