I found out yesterday that I have an opportunity to join a group taking a bus trip to Nashville for the Second Harvest Concert on September 19.
The concert is organized by Craig Wiseman who is one of Nashville's most prestigious songwriters (Tim McGraw's superhit "Live Like You Were Dying.")
Here's a blurb from the Second Harvest website:
Presented by O’Charley’s, the show will feature acoustic performances by a star-studded line-up including LeAnn Rimes, Ronnie Dunn of Brooks & Dunn, Randy Owen of Alabama, Jeffrey Steele, Dann Huff, Tony Mullins and The Joyful Noise. Two genre-crossing, heavy-hitting superstars are being billed as surprise guests.
Now get this. The trip is being organized by Craig Wiseman's mother!!! Though it hasn't been mentioned the super optimist in me is thinking surely our group will get to meet some of the stars. If not, it's still going to be an exciting concert.
Last year, Tim and Faith performed. Could they be this year's surprise??
Did I say I was SOOO excited? :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
