to the american idol concert in maine that's in a few weeks?

i already went to the concert in worcester way back in july. and my friend, samantha, came with me. she's a big fan of the show .

my other friend, jessie, is also a fan of the show. and she reallly adores paris. and after i bought the tickets to the show in maine - i told jessie that since samantha came to the one in worcester with me.

well. after the worcester show - samantha wasn't able to see katharine since she was sick or whatever. and samantha's a big fan of katharine. so she told me she wanted to go to the show in maine, too.

and now i don't know who to bring. i know i should probably bring jessie because i already told her that i would. and sam's already been to a concert. but sam wants to see katharine. so if i invite her, jessie will be mad at me. and if i bring jessie, sam will be mad at me.

so either way. one of them is going to end up being mad at me.

so. help? haha.

Does Sam know Jesse wants to go? I think she's a bit inconsiderate if she knows you have other friends who might want to go with you, to ask if she can go a second time. Did she not realize Kat wouldn't be in Worcester? But she went with you, anyways. and got to enjoy the rest of the show, after all.

Does Jesse expect you to take her, and is she looking forward to the show? If I were you, I'd tell Sam'sorry', even if you like her better and would prefer to go with her, unless you don't care about Jesse's friendship.. Tell Sam the truth and if she's a real friend, she'll understand.

I think your best bet would be to tell Sam that before you knew she wanted to go to the other show too that you had already asked Jessie. Let her know that in fairness you can't w/draw the invite now, and that she already went to a show with you.

I know she may have wanted to see kat, but that was an unfortunate circumstance for ALL kat fans. It is not your fault Kat could not be there.

I would hands down keep your word to your friend Jesse, as your friend Sam already went, and it was not your fault hon, that Kat was not there. If Sam was a true friend sweetie, she will totally understand!!

Wow, this is a tough spot for you to be in! BUT, if you already promised to take Jess, then JESS should be with you at the Maine show. Sam had her turn with you & it sounds like you both had a great time. I realize Sam didn't get to see Kat, but Jess hasn't seen ANY of the Idols perform live yet!

If you respect & value the friendship of Jess, you will take her & explain to Sam ,if she doesn't already know, that you promised to take Jess to the Maine show before Sam even asked to go to it. Sam has no reason to be upset with you, she has already BEEN to a show with you! Jess has not. You & Jess may be fortunate to meet Kat before or after the show & get Sam an autograph! If Sam is a friend, she will understand why you are taking Jess & wish you 2 the best of fun!
