Description: New season starts tonight

Well I am off to watch the first episode of this season's House. I am not sure when it begins in the U.S. - can somebody clear this up for me? It starts here on Tuesday, September 5, 2006.

I hope it's on Tuesdays! Otherwise I missed it! I think FOX starts their new season earlier than anyone else, probably because they will be taking time off later to show the baseball playoffs and the World Series, so they want to make sure to get people hooked BEFORE then! I think most of the shows that I watch on other networks still don't start for a few more weeks.

Woo Hoo! Can't wait for season 3 to start! I bought the season 2 DVD set a few days ago. The outakes are hilarious. Try to get a copy of the season 2 set. "House, The Valley Girl Addition" is just freakin' hilarious! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I was so choked last night. The TV Guide for my area stated that House would be on at 10pm Monday night (last night). So I get all settled to watch the show, I even slathered my feet with cream knowing that I could lay back and relax for the next hour to watch House! So we put it on according to what it said the TV Guide and Rock Star was on. So we checked the guide again and nope, we were not in error.

So then I decide to look at the on t.v. listings and IT says House is on Tuesday at 8pm. HUH??

So I am stuff there laying on the couch for at least 45 minutes because of the darn cream I slathered liberally all over my feet. I ended up watching "The World's Dirtiest Jobs".

You see I only watch tv when a favorite show of mine is one. Otherwise I don't even turn the tv on as I have plenty of other stuff to do. Thus, in the summer I only put the t.v. on so I can watch a DVD.

Grrr. So I guess I will try to watch house tonight at 8pm. This time it better be on or HEADS WILL ROLL!!!! lol

Pepper, what is the Valley Girl Addition about? I don't think I missed any episodes from last season (2) but that isn't ringing any bells!

If you get your hands on a copy of the season 2 DVD collection, then the "Valley Girl Edition" outakes or on disks 2 and 5 ( I think). We have alrealy loaned the DVD set out to someone or else I would double check for you. The out-takes pertain to the "Daddy's Boy" (again, I think) episode and the other one about the two lesbian roomates/organ donation episode. Hope this helps.

So here is my problem with House. They have this habit of taking really large plot twists and either ignoring that they happened or just briefly explaining what happened. Examples of this are when Foreman had the surgery and afterwards he was responding backwards. They just let that go. Last seaon's finale where you didn't know if House was dreaming or not. They just came back this season and acted like it never happened. Well, I guess he wasn't dreaming. They shouldn't start things if they are not going to finish them.

You are absolutely right, Dawn! Another problem I have with shows like this (and Medium) is that time and time again the lead character has proven that he/she is ALWAYS right. Yet each episode we go through the whole process of boss/colleagues doubting the main character's abilities throughout the episode until our lead character proves them wrong.
