The concert was WONDERFUL ! First I want to say that I went to the Hershey PA concert back in July and it was great, but this time I have seen such a change in each of the idols. They were all amazing tonight! and of course as ever Elliott.

I took my son, 2 daughters and my granddaughter with me this time. We got to Hershey around 2:30pm, I was going to try my hardest to get to see the Idols this time. Well for some reason the security would NOT let us down by the buses! People were sneaking and they kept chasing them away. So then they had the security guards stand by the steps. I thought how ridiculous. I don't know what had happened but there was a rumor going around that last time the Idols were there, there was an incident? Don't know if that was true or not. So we were sitting there and I hear " THERE'S ACE! So I grab my granddaughter and my kids and we go over to where he was. {ok we ran} We stood in the long line and finally it was our turn. I let my granddaughter go first Ace hugged her and it was the most touching moment I have seen in some time. She would NOT let him go and he would not let go of her. I didn't know he was hugging her as much as she was him, I kept saying OK VICTORIA LET GO NOW ! but she wouldn't and he kept on hugging her. Finally they broke apart! It was priceless! Ace is the sweetest guy! I just am floored by his love for his fans and children.We all got to have a picture with him and talk to him. He was very gracious.

They said someone else was going to come out but nobody else did. Though a woman and my son sighted Taylor. Did he come to tell me? NO.

The people that won the meet and greet from radio stations got on line. They kept saying we are not giving out any more passes. to say the least we were disappointed .
Oh well we met some REALLY nice Elliott fans Chris fans and SOUL PATROL fans. I even got a Elliott fans email address to send her the link to Etrain.
I got signatures for the banner and the kids hung out by the railing FAR away from the idols just in case they spotted any of them, but to no avail. Even if they did the people down there looked like ants.

So to fast forward the concert started around

7:15 Mandisa comes out singing, I thought the first time I saw her she was amazing but she sounded even better tonight.

Next up Ace, the crowed goes wild. I won't go into the songs since we know what he is singing, When he was doing father figure he was pumping up his chest! It was cute. The woman went wild!

Next Lisa, she has come VERY FAR! From the first time I saw her in PA to this time she just blew me away.

Then Paris OMG what can I say about this little spit fire! I have never see anyone dance like this girl can. There was a man to the side dancing like a maniac and she was dancing with him! It was so cute. Unfortunately I didn't get a picture.

Next out as we know is Bucky. He comes out rocking out and singing . He's got everyone singing. Jumps down to the audience and is shaking hands. This boy has Energy PLUS! I don't know if I didn't notice him last time because my seat was so stinky but I was very impressed with him!

Then Ms Kellie comes out. They do their duet and she starts talking to the audience. I believe it is the same thing that she has said in other concerts about her starting out as a girl serving food on roller skates. She impressed me the first time at PA you could see that she has gotten better with time. { I was never really a Kellie fan} Liked her for the sweet girl she was but that was it.

Intermission.

Out comes Chris THE PLACE GOES NUTS! he does his songs and really I couldn't even hear him because the people around me especially in front and behind were so loud.

Chris starts "savin me" here comes Elliott! again the place goes crazy! He sounded amazing. I can tell he is trying new things out with his voice. I can't put my finger on it but something. Sounds great! He sounded more like he does when he plays with Limbo then when he started this journey. I never thought I could love a voice more!
His hair is much fuller just looks wonderful.
He asks HOW"S MY LADIES TONIGHT? The woman scream. He then says he has a song for his woman! He starts MMFL and everyone sits down. Me and the lady next to me stay standing and swaying to the music. Probably pissing off people behind us! I have to say the sound there this time was A LOT better then last he sounded very echoey the last time he sang MMFL, this time it was perfect!

What I did miss him saying is how he loved everyone, and didn't notice him throwing kisses as much as he did in the last concert.

He did some talking but it was hard to hear him. I think he said he was happy to be back in Hershey and asked how many of us was there last time?

He then asks how everyone is doing and then says is it ok to bring his friends back out? Everyone yells and the guys come out and sing Patience.

Next out is Kat. Now I didn't see Kat at the first show she wasn't there because she was sick, I am not a KAT lover so I thought ok I will give her a chance. She comes out singing BHICT and her voice is cracking. I thought oh no flash backs of AI. YIKES
So I went to the ladies room. I came out and she was singing SWOTR and again her voice is cracking. Don't get me wrong she is very pretty but ugh I just do NOT understand how she got to that place. Sorry Kat fans..... ANYHOW
Next up Taylor! He comes down the steps and running through the audience. You can feel the energy coming off of him. I tried to take pictures but he was running around so much I couldn't get many. So much energy WOW.

They all came out and did the final song and I noticed when Elliott went to the left side of the stage he was making goofy faces at someone. At one point he lost his mic. Bucky picked it up and handed it to him patted Elliott on the back. He was going crazy at the end. Probably saying only 5 more of these to go! He was full of ENERGY!
Our Meet and Greet:
So now the lights come up and we sat till most of the people got out. Actually we were told we had to move because they started cleaning up.
So my daughter had to use the ladies room and went to the one down the steps and we were all standing there waiting for my her and people were lining up to go to the after meet and greet. I was standing there thinking I would LOVE to go back there, then started thinking of being thankful that I got to see the show twice, and that there are many that didn't get this chance to even see the show. I got to meet Ace outside { though I would of thuded if I met Elliott and would of loved to meet him} BUT I was grateful for what I had not what I didn't. Then this girl comes over to my youngest daughter asks her if she would like a pass to the M&G? My daughter of course said yes. The one guard standing there watching all this said to me why don't you back with her? So one of the AI Security { I guess it was} came over and I said my daughter is going in to see the Idols M&G can I go with her? She said no that she thought my daughter would be fine. { My daughter is 16 but is disabled} the security guard that told me to go with her got really mad so they all had this little pow wow and said you can go back with her! My son was not happy but I didn't want to push the issue.
So we go to the room, stand around and wait for the Idols to come in.
First Mandisa comes in. She is such a gracious wonderful person! Just so down to earth and loving! She chatted with me for a bit and took a picture with my daughter.
Then Paris and Lisa came in, Lisa talked to us, Paris just kind of stayed with a group of people. Lisa is such a sweet young lady, I wished her the best of luck in her future!
Then Ace came in. All the woman gathered around him and as always was as kind and sweet to everyone. He sat next to me and we talked a bit about how they were all feeling about the tour ending soon. He said yes it is bittersweet that he was glad the tour was going to be over but how he was going to miss all his buddies! I could see the sadness in his face. I started tearing up.

I stood there like a lost puppy dog waiting for Elliott, then the news from the AI security: that's it folks nobody else is coming out. I had this bittersweet feeling. I thought OK well it's not meant for me to meet Elliott. sigh.
I am happy and very thankful I did get to meet the other Idols.
The day was exhausting, I am getting to old for these concerts! lol But I loved EVER minute and am sad that is is almost over!
I did get Kellie to sign the banner where the other idols signed, one lady security guard took it out to the bus for her to sign. This panel is full and complete now!

I will post pictures as soon as I figure out how.

I agree Welove, Ace is very kind and sweet toward his fans and even the fans of other Idols. If they paid for smiles, he would be a multi-billionaire. What cutie-patootie. He sure can hug. LOVE IT.

Thanks for the great recap. I am so happy that you had such a great experience this time. I guess it is true what they say about Ace--very warm and caring. Even though I am not a fan of his voice it is so sweet how he was hugging your daughter.
So sad :( :( that you didn't get to meet Elliott, but at least you met some of the
idols.

Ace is sure a sweet guy isn't he? He really works the room and is so accessible to fans, he's no dummy. ;) I loved the part of your story about your granddaughter not wanting to quit hugging him, aww. I would probably feel the same way if it was me. :drool:

Awe thanks hun! I too was never a big fan of Ace's voice but his great peronality makes up for that. I do like his father figure.
I was sad I didn't meet Elliott and don't know if I will ever have the chance again but who knows what the future holds for all of us at his SINGLE concerts !!

He was wonderful to ease my pain after finding out that Elliott wasn't coming.
