in Maine, and she said her and my stepdad not only signed the banner, "All aboard the E-Train with lots of love" , but whoever was in charge of the banner tonight thought it was cool that my mom KNEW about "The E-Train" and her and my stepdad even took over for a bit in charge of it, ( I think that is what she said..lol) while the other girl ran to do something, and my stepdad got 4 people to sign it!! See...my whole FAMILY RULES!!! I hope they, and anyone else at the show tonight has a blast!!

Haha, that's awesome Debbie. Way to get the whole family involved in promoting Elliott and the E-Train! It was very nice of them to take over banner duty so the captain could take a quick break. I hope they're having a blast at the concert. :D

My mom just called me, she had a blast, and said "oh, Elliott said to say hi" being WISE!!!! She said the show was great, Elliott was a RIOT as he had on some HUGE chicken feet (part of a mascot costume of some kind) and a Mexican hat and he threw the hat into the audience;) He is just too adorable!

Just got home from the Portland show. I wasn't planning on going because I couldn't get tickets but Ticketmaster opened a block of fantastic seats this week and I got one. Yea me. It was great! All the guys and Kelly came out before the show and signed autographs/pictures. I left to get something to eat so maybe the other girls came out then--don't know.
Same show as all the others. I came away thinking they were all much better than the last time I saw them on AI.

Mandisa--really liked her--big voice and nice personality.

Ace--I hate to admit it but he is more handsome in person and he did really well with his performance.

Lisa--did well but for me she was my least favorite performance.

Paris--cute and peppy. Loved her dancing/singing.

Bucky--I liked Bucky better in person. Neat hair and sang well.

Kelly--no red bustier. She is wonderful with the audience. Some kid made a big poster shaped like a pickle with calamari arms and singing "Red Shoes". She made a big deal of it and brought it up on the stage, asked the kid his/her name (It was Brook so I"m not sure). She came out for the finale wearing what I think was a big green furry chicken head. LOL. (I think Ace did too).

Chris--crowd liked Chris as usual. He will go far.

Elliott--WOW! I couldn't imagine he could sound better in person but he does. The crowd knew he was coming out for Savin Me and started applauding before he appeared. Lots of E fans. The people all around me were E fans so I was happy. He came out for the finale with a sombero over his cap (damn wanted the hair) and 2 foot long orange chicken feet. What a riot. He looked so cute parading around the stage with those stupid feet. He also did his little shimmy--yea!!

Kat--she said she has a cold which developed within the last 24 hours and apologized. She sounded good anyway but had to take a moment in SOTR (with a sorry). She did just fine in spite of the cold.

Taylor--love Taylor. He made his usual entrance right in front of us. The crowd all stood and gave him much love. He seemed very energic and seemed to be having a lot of fun. Great performer.

Great show. Glad I went! Sorry my camera is crap. Hope someone got a better picture of Elliott's chicken feet. :woohoo:

Sandy 5, thank you for your recap. Glad that you had a great time. Congrats on the good seat. The Idols are very good in concert. Elliott is amazing. It's great that Elliott was shown some love in Portland.

Sandy5, I'm nosey. Please tell us more. Did you get to meet Elliott and the other Idols when they came out before the show? Also, did anyone on stage explain why Elliott had on chicken feet and sombero and why Kellie had on a chicken head? That's hilarious.

Just met Elliott--he is sooooo cute in person. He had on a baseball cap and his hair was darker (what little could be seen) than I thought. Probably the lights bring out the red. He was really nice to everyone. My but he's hot. I didn't hear any explanation for the chicken feet/sombrero or Kelly & Ace's chicken heads. Very funny. They all seemed to be having the best time during the finale. Probably with things winding up, they are letting loose a little. The last show will be fantastic, I'm sure. Taylor said they arrived in Portland on Wednesday and had been touring around the city. Someone in line said they had seen him do a little sing thing (short) at a bar. Wouldn't that be great to just bump into them like that? I saw and signed the banner.....

OH, PLEASE SOMEONE POST PICTURES OF ELLIOTT WITH THE CHICKEN FEET. IF THAT DOESN'T BEAT ALL. SOUNDS HILARIOUS! :rotfl:

Oh, I second that! :rotfl: There's got to be a picture of him with the chicken feet floating around the web somewhere. Anyone here bored and want to try to find one?

I have since learned what we mistook for chicken feet were in reality parrot feet.
Apparently Crackers the parrot is the mascot for the Portland Pirates ice hockey team. I wondered why the chicken heads on Kelly/Ace were green. :P

YEP!! I am going to Bridgeport tomorrow!!!!!!! I have yet to meet Elliott so everyone keep your fingers, toes, (but not your eyes, I wouldn't want em to stay that way..hehehe) and hairs crossed that I finally get that chance!!
