Anyone a fan of ANTM? This is one show that I never miss each week! Looks like there are some really nasty girls again this season! And what does everyone think of the twins? For the life of me I couldn't see why they were let into the top 13 (?). But after the first shoot, I could see a glimmer of what the judges were seeing.

I think my 2 favorites at this stage are the two girls with short dark hair. LOL, I'm so bad with remembering the contestants' names!

Yea. My sentiments exactly about the twins. Still not nuts about them, except the one twin had some real emotion in her eyes. I too like the dark haired girls, Megan and AJ (I think are their names.) No real knock outs like in some of the seasons past or wny that I connected with emotionally. Alot of pretty girls but like I said no real stand outs except the teo mentioned above and Eugena takes great pictures IMO. Although I didn't think she was a stand out outside of the photos. That nasty diva thing Tyra did was obnoxious. And all those pictures of her everywhere is just downright offensive to me.

Love, love, love this show. The twins are kind of plain but maybe they'll look better after everyone gets their makeovers. Remember Shandie from a couple of seasons ago? She looked totally different after they dyed her hair blond.

I don't not like the one chick who took a bed away from another girl and poured water on it but said it was her pee. What a biotch! I haven't picked a favorite yet, I still have to get their names straight!

Can't wait for the drama!

Yeah they're not exactly "pretty" but I bet they're both going to have some of the best pics.

I hate divas and it's going to be SO fun watching her get yelled at next week when she's on the phone. I really hope someone just punches her diva butt out.

Anchal.. I'm still iffy about her. At certain angles.. she's pretty, but then others.. she just looks BLAH. I think trimming down those eyebrows will help her overall appaearance though. Sorry but big bushy manbrows just don't look good. :P heh

Haven't watched ANTM since Project Runway started, I ended up liking PR more and that was my Wednesday night show.

Totally agree with you on both counts. I was watching Tyra 'act' like a spoiled whatever she was supposed to be and I had a "WTF" look on my face and then I started to giggle unconfortably. It was weird and I was embarrassed for her.

I understand one or two major magazine cover pics of Tyra in the foyer of the house, but what's up with there being a giant headshot of her about each girl's bed? It's very disturbing. I think someone needs an ego check - stat!

I can't wait for the makeover show! Will that be next week?

Oh and I just remembered that Melrose (Melanie? Melissa? Rose - ok lol) really irked me, mainly from her comments near the beginning (in the first hour of the premiere).

Who is Caribe? I like CariDee and I actually got a weird vibe from Brooke near the beginning of the show. But who knows! It's still early in the game.

I like Anchal. She's the Indian girl (Though I think she looks a little bit more Pakistani.)

There's something so unique and out of the box model look to her. She's gorgeous. (And she doesn't look so plain.) A lot of the girls this year just look very similar the twins, Melrose, Megg, etc. They all look very similar.

But I like Anchal, and CariDee so far.

She just has a peculiar look... maybe it's a combination of things. Teeny mouth, BUT with the plump little lips. Sorta longish nose, BUT it's skinny. Wide face, BUT cheeks are well defined.

I totally agree with you Amunet. Her look really bugs me. On certain angles, she does look striking, but there are a lot of characteristics of her face that are odd. Maybe after the makeover I'll reassess my opinion of her.

Does anyone else think that Melrose looks OLD? First time I saw her I thought she was about my age (31). I was shocked when she said she was 23. Another thing that bugged the snot out me about her was her assertion that because she was 23 and much older/maturer than the other girls that she could help them (or whatever the heck she said). I don't know too many 23 year olds that have all their sh** together. I just think she has a very high opinion of herself.

I haven't seen any of the episodes yet of cycle 7, but when I saw the pics of the contenders, Anchal literally took my breath! She is BEAUTIFUL. I don't know how it will translate to the wacked out photo shoots they do, but I imagine she will look gorgeous.

Okay, I said no more reality shows, but I was channel surfing last night and I saw the photos of the current group of would-be models. I'm amazed how someone you would walk by on the streets can just transform in front of a camera.

I also liked the two with short hair, especially the one who felt really out of place. I can't remember her name yet.

But what's all this about Tyra putting her picture on each girl's headboard?? That's dumb, IMO.

I didn't like the outfit Tyra had on last night either, it just focused way too much on her boobs. I did notice some of the photos posted in the hallways of Tyra's office and also got a bad vibe about it....hmmmmm, Tyra please don't lose it.

Berkie, I like her too. She was the one who really stood out to me at first blush.

I didn't see the entire show, but I will be following it. The one twin (the one I consider less attractive) took a great photo. She could be a great "atypical" model. I really loved that shot.

Megan was my favorite too, but maybe she looked too much like a past contestant that won a few seasons back? Can't seem to remember her name either hehe.

And what's up with only one phone for all of those girls? Do the PTB do this to create drama in the house? Personally if I desperately needed to phone my landlord so I wouldn't lose $1000.00 I would have found a way to get Monique off the damn phone!

The only downside to her leaving is that she was the contestant this season who added drama to the show.

What I don't understand is why the PTB didn't deal with her behavior in any way. I mean there are underage girls living there (I think one of them is 17). Not saying they need to be babysat 24/7, but Monique was a total psycho and I could actually see her doing things a lot worse than the things she had done up to this point. I mean, I would be scared to let down my guard or to allow myself to sleep when she is roaming the house. I could totally imagine her taking a pair of scissors in the middle of the night and chopping off Melrose's hair or something while she slept. Or something even worse!

So maybe her behavior in the house was actually a factor in her leaving the show, just a guess, and maybe one thing has no relation to another, but who knows? lol.

Like you, Amulet, I would probably gone schizo on her ass too after a certain point.

I know models have a reputation for often being difficult and all that, but I believe that Monique's present and future behavior surpasses what is tolerable in the industry. Can you imagine what she would be like if in fact she become a successful model down the road - with all the ego tripping that would go along with that? Imagine her behavior then!! She'd probably become a psycho serial killer of her fellow models, knocking them off one by one! LOL!

Okay, so far...bored with the twins. Glad Monique is gone. Sorry to see AJ leave, but she did seem out of it last week. Too bad, I think she could have been in the top 4 or 5. I liked it when she said, "I don't look like the other girls...I've got a different thing going on." I was really rooting for her from that point on. I guess I like the underdog (shades of E). Glad the rocker chick is gone, though. She seemed like an airhead every time she said, "I just wanna rock and roll...heh, heh, heh." However, I think Christian got cut way too soon. She never got a chance. She should still be in it. I wish Jaeda would get over her hair (although I know where she's coming from because I don't feel feminine with short hair either). She reminds me of Halle Berry with the short cut. I hope she starts to accept it, I think she could be in the top group if she does. Glad Brooke did well (she was 3rd from the bottom the week before last), although I don't think she did THAT well (although I have to give her props for her impromptu rap at judging!). Does she look like Reese Witherspoon or what?Poor Eugena, she seem terribly insecure. I hope she gets some props soon.

And I know people are going to disagree with me, but I like Melrose. I'm glad she won the red carpet challenge. The rest of them didn't seem to be able to think on their feet at all. Geez. I know the other girls in the house find her annoying, and she can be a bit bossy, but frankly, she hasn't done anything to deserve the treatment she's gotten so far (the name calling, the shunning). She's the only one who stood up to Monique and yet no one seemed to appreciate it. Yes, she's confident, but so was Eva (who also rubbed some people the wrong way). I hate the way they made her superblonde which washes her out. I thought she looked better with darker hair. If Christian were still in it, I think she is the only one who could have given Melrose a run for her money. At this point, Melrose looks like a frontrunner unless someone else steps up to the plate and can do more than just take a pretty picture.

So which one of the twins do you think will get eliminated first? I think Amanda, because she seems to lack the confidence that Michelle has, although Amanda seems to be more photogenic. Frankly, neither one seems like model material. But if one gets eliminated, will the remaining one fold? Ahhhh, the suspense of reality TV.....

None of them are really standing out for me as they have in season's past. I do agree Melrose is pretty advanced. She deserves to go far. Was glad that obnoxious twit Monique got s*** canned. I think Eugenia is very beautiful, but man she's just too introverted. I think Achal should be gone cause she's just too spastic. I'm sure this is a confidence enhancing experience for her though. The twins, remember the tall bolnde froma few seasons past who was kind of nerdy looking, she cheated on her boyfriend in France, they physically SORT of remind me of her, but once again, she had a soul that gave something. These twins just don't do that for me. Very brave of the one twin to come out on national television. I liked the girl who was in a plane crash, she got the boot too soon. I liked AJ too but she didn't seem like she wanted to be there. Brooke is too young and inexperienced . I didn't really think about her looking like Reese Witherspoon. Maybe her smile a bit. Her energy.

Anyone else think the judging last week with Brooke being ousted was...odd? (My computer hard drive blew up and I've been out of commission for a week while it was being fixed. Missed the Etrain!) She was called first the week before and next week she's gone? Hmmm.
