Ok, I hope you guys like reading a book, cause this may just turn out to be one knowing me and the way I like to tell stories. K, so here it goes.

So my friend Paula, who was GRACIOUS enough to drive, myself, my daughter Mandie, and her daughter Jessie, (both girls 13yrs old) from NH to Bridgeport, about a 3 hour drive. We got there, with no problems along the way, listening to the Elliott CD the entire way..of course!! As we checked into the hotel, the girls all got a kick out of me showing everyone and anyone (jokingly) my press pass... showing it to elevator doors, strangers driving by, snowmen in the widow of the hotel lobby, the wishing well in the lobby...yeah, I am the jokester!! We checked into out room and Chloe called me to see where I was as they were already at the box office, which was only about a half a mile from our hotel, but they couldn't find where to park, so we left the hotel to join them on the search, and ran into them (well not LITTERALLY) on the road:) We followed them for a bit, and we decided on parking in an area near the arena for a min. We stopped, and got out and met each other....(omg I LOVE THESE GIRLS!!) and Chloe, graciously gave both the girls tote bags she had made for them!! She also gave Amanda the most adorable Ace shirt she made..which later, would be come famous!! ok so we decided to explore where the buses might go..so we went in kind of a scary alleyway behind the baseball field and next to the arena. BINGO!!!! we found the buses all right...and the security guard found US, and booted our behinds OUT!! lolllllll...yep, almost in jail already, and it wasn't even 12:30!! We decided to park in the parking lot acrossed from the arena, then we walked over to the fenced in area acrossed the street, where we knew they would come out, when the buses with the idols got there. We ended up meeting the 3 WONDERFUL, sweet, and gracious young ladies from Japan, who were sweet enough to bring us each gifts from Japan!! Amanda was soooo thrilled as she is obsessed with all things Japanese;) We all waited around as more and more fans showed up, but Paula, myself, Mandie and Jessie were front and center on the fence and we were not moving...ok, not for a while anyway!!
We waited there till around 2 or so...and the buses pulled in....and I was losing it!! Well, the girls got off, and just went into the building...Kellie, Mandisa and Paris..Paris did wave:) Didn't see Kat or Lisa. We saw Taylor get off the bus..but he didn't wave or anything..then he got back on a few min later...still nothing from him. We waited and waited and FINALLY Ace gets off..and comes over to the fence to meet us...and it is LOCKED!! So they leave...(I did get a pic though) and Bucky got off and he waved a few times to us..very sweet;) then nothing..nothing...nothing!! We found out they couldn't unlock the fence, so Ace came out in another area..so of course I we took the girls over to meet him....CHECK!!!!! Dream number one acheived for my Mandie!! Ace was a DOLL;) He told Amanda how much he loveddddd her shirt, and was so gracious and he took his pic with the girls...

we waited for about 4-5 hours...no Elliott, so we decided to go back to the hotel...Paula, the girls and I, and freshen up for the show. RM called me while I was there, and I told her how NO ELLIOTT!! That is yellin's luck..but that I would NOT give up till the night was over..not EVER!! RM, your a DOLL..I love ya girl!! So...we freshen up...and head back to the venue..at about 6 pm where we see Chloe at her car gathering goods for the idols:) We decided to seek out Hallie, who was in charge of the banner so yellin' could FINALLY sign it. After I did, Hallie floored me. She asked me if I would hold up the sign asking people to sign E's banner...of course I did, and she said..yellin', I need your other hand..for this...and she passed me an after party pass sticker!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I almost died right there...I DID tear up and leaned on H to give her the BIGGEST THANKS..and she was like"do NOT CRY!! I will cry..." lol;) a ehem....little angel was GRACIOUS enough to get passes for H, Chloe, my daughter and myself..and I think a few others...and to you, I THANK YOU HUMBLY;) To the young man, Colin, who got passes for my friend and her daughter, so they could get in too...BLESS YOU!!!

ok..so before I finish the story, and get all teary eyed again, let me share with you a bit of my silliness throughout the night. My friend Paula took this pic of me in the hotel room, flashin' my "press pass" which was the magic word for the day...lolllllll;) I know...I am a clown!!

Ok, so now that I knew I was going to be meeting Elliott, me..yep lil' old yellin from a tiny town in NH, I was on cloud 9, 999,999 for the rest of the NIGHT!! On our way into the venue was when the only unfortunate happenings of the night occured. They of course searched our purses/bags, and I had put the gift I had made for Elliott, (a leather and pewter bracelet which read "LISTEN TO YOUR SOUL" on it) in my daughter Amanda's Ace bag that Chloe had made for her. Well it was in a small green bag, in a box with green tinfoil type paper, and the not so nice guard TOOK the GIFT!!!! He said "you can't give that to them, WEEEEEEE will do it for ya" and he TOOK IT!!! Still, I don't know if Elliott ever got it, and I will be heartbroken if he did not, cause there was a special reason for the bracelet. Ok..on to better things, lol;) We got inside and when Paula and Jessie found out I had got seats to the left, 5th row, they were DYING cause they had never seen a show before, except for in "the nosebleed" section;) I was so happy to have done this for them, and to watch the girls scream, clap, smile, laugh, and ACKKKKKKKKK over Ace, Elliott, and Chris, was worth EVERY DIME!!! The show was amazing, even better then in Manchester, and the one reason was because each of the idols made it a point (Elliott included, he is such a doll) to dedicate their songs, to a young girl in the audience from the Make a Wish foundation. Lisa also dedicated hers to a young girl who had been in a terrible car accident, and had told her earlier, that she could not have gotten through everything, without Lisa's music. What a doll. Kind of ironic that I got to go to the second show of the tour, then the second to the LAST show of the tour!! This one was definetely more polished, and Elliott was ...omg...AMAZING. When he came out, and finished his duet with Chris, then made his BEAUTIFUL dedication to young Katie in the audience, the tears started flowing. It was a combination of EVERYTHING that had happened so far that day, from meeting Chloe and H...to my daughter getting her pic with Ace, to spending some time with dear friends, old and new, to seeing Elliott on stage, where he belongs, helping to do HIS part in making a dream come true for a sweet young girl. It all just HIT me...that I was going to finally MEET this amazingly beautiful man, after the show, and I couldn't help but cry. Paula, was like "omg Debs, are you crying?? awwwwwww" and she put her arm around me. Amanda was making fun of her mother..as most teenagers would..lollllll;) Anyway, the show was great, and when the finale came and Elliott came out with his famous "SuperJew" shirt on, THAT was one thing, but to have a CAPE TO GO WITH IT?? THAT WAS GENIUS!!!!! omg, he looked like he was having the time of his life, and I just couldn't be happier than to watch him in action...



sorry they aren't the best quality, but you get the idea of how ADORABLE HE IS!!! I also loved looking over and seeing Chloe and H having the time of their lives a row in front of us...center stage. Those girls are just well, FANGIRLS!!! heheeeeeeeeee!!! When the show was done, we all met up, and went to the area they told us to go to for the Aftershow Meet and Greets. First of all, I couldn't believe HOW MANY of us there were...ALOT!! And then it was unorganized CHAOS!!!

Here is the part that will kill me...omg...the tears are coming all ready...ugh. My friend Paula was the first one to spot Elliott, and she LOST it on me....lol;) She was like "omg.......THERE HE IS!!!!!! RIGHT THERE!!!!! RIGHT THERE IN FRONT OF USSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!" I was a nutcase, and a sweating, about ready to pass out from not eating all day WRECK, and was like "WHERE???" Then I looked over and saw him...like 10 ft from us, and I started doing the "yellin is losing her mind" dance..and you don't wanna know what that looks like, it ain't pretty...lolllllll;) I didn't know whether to laugh, or cry, or dive for him, so I just DANCED!!!! K, after I settled down, from getting MORE sweaty, (yeah smart one yellin' stink yourself up before meeting your HERO..ugh) We walked over and there was a MOB around him, but ya know what? Elliott took in EACH AND EVERY SINGLE person, young, old, short, tall, man or woman, he made sure to make EACH person feel like they were the only ones on the planet with him at that moment in time. Especially the young girl Katie, from the Make a Wish foundation, who was in a wheelchair, and he got down with her and I know made her feel like the most invincible, beautiful, SPECIAL soul if even for that one brief moment in time. Just to WATCH him interact with all of the fans, was a JOY and pleasure in itself. He was also ESPECIALLY gracious with the three WONDERFUL ladies from Japan..I mean, imagine, they came all that way to see ELLIOTT!!! He was floored and you could tell. He even did a shout out to the fans in Japan for one of the ladies on her video camera!! I got to see him talking with Chloe...EEEEEEEEEEK!!!

and others...

and then with H...EEEEEEEEEEKK!!, and then, H PULLED me in, (cause I didn't want to cut infront of anyone, or be rude, or maybe I was just in AWE.... :yes: ) and said "you HAVE to meet yellin' yellin' get in here!! And there I was..face to face with this BEAUTIFUL man, the moment I had hoped for, dreamed for, for so many more reasons than I could EVER BEGIN to explain to everyone here...just all of you KNOW that there are some reasons that no one knows about that made this dream for me...all the more meaningful. Elliott looked at me with the most kind, smiling eyes, and said "hello" and I said "omg...I am gonna pass out!!" yep...leave it to yellin...lollll;) Elliott said "oh no hon, don't do THAT!!" and he brought me to him and gave me the HUGEST HUG!!! When I pulled back from him slightly, I looked right into those eyes and told him "you have no idea how much I love you, and what an inspiration you have been in my life"...then the tears..started to come again, and I looked at H who looked at me like "if you cry, you DIE" so I held em back best I could and smiled, and he said "oh sweetheart, thank you so much" I then told him about the bracelet I brought for him..and showed him mine (which is similar, diff color and saying) and told him I hope he gets it, and he said "awww thank you!" and he gave me ANOTHER HUG!!! I then asked if I could have my pic with him and he said "of course!!" which led to this one...


Then, I asked Elliott for a HUGE favor, for a very SPECIAL angel named Brandon, Elliott's good friend, and ours here on the E-Train too. I couldn't let the night go on without a special "rocker hand" shout out to Brandon, so I asked Elliott "would you mind doing one more pic with me...rocker style, hand, tongue and all, for Brandon?" Elliott was totally STOKED!! He was like "omg..this is so rockin" then we did THIS...

for YOU Brandon my friend!!! That picture has got to be, sweaty or not, one of my all time FAVES OF MY LIFE!!!..wait, I think it IS MY ALL TIME FAVE!!!
I thanked Elliott so much, and wished him the best of luck, then hung around to take the most gorgeous pic, of him and H-Bomb together, (that pic is on her camera...so you will have to wait!!). Then we went on our way, to meet Chris....(for my girl Amanda...)

Chris was really a doll to Amanda, and she was just lit UP the entire night!! We then watched as Jessie was sweet enough to get an autograph from Kellie Pickler for my 5 year old son Noah who just LOVESSSSSSS her to death!! It says "To Noah, Kellie Pickles" lollll;) he just LOVESSSSSSSSSS it!!
We then decided to go BACK to Elliott so I could have him sign my shirt and Press Pass...which he graciously did, and to get a pic of him and my girl Amanda, when it wasn't quite so crowded around him...

just LOOK at my girls face!!! It just speaks VOLUMES as to how excited she was!! We then stopped Chris to get a quick pick of him and Paula..(she won't let me share it..LOLLLLL) and he got rushed off b4 I could get one with him;) We saw Paris, she was a doll, and Mandisa was just beautiful, and Ace had a line a mile long too, but we had already had the pleasure of meeting him, so we decided it was time to head back to the hotel, and take it all in. We passed on going to LMBO, number one, cause we knew none of them would be there, and number two, let's just say Bridgeport was not exactly the SAFEST city to leave two 13 year old girls alone in a hotel in...plus, I just wanted to chill, and share in the joy, pictures, and EXCITEMENT WITH MY GIRLS!!!

Well, that is about it, Chloe called me the next day to ask where we were at LMBO, as they went for a short bit, got lost getting there...lol, etc, and I told her we were just beat, and ready to take it all in. Her and H were heading out shortly for WB so I wished them well, and thanked them for helping to give me the time of my life. Those two are TRULY angels on earth;)

As for the ENTIRE E-Train family, ESPECIALLY my fellow chatters, MJ, RM, Dox, Peppers, rach, FLIP!!!! (lol), desert, MC, linda, DJ, Aly and so many more I LOVE YOU GUYS, and you guys are the best secret keepers EVER!!!! I couldn't ask for a better second family, as that is what each and everyone of you are!! Everyone should be as blessed to have people like you in their lives.

To Brandon, hon, I know I told you already but if the world was full of Brandon's it was just be a more BEAUTIFUL place to be...PERIOD. Thank you, from the BOTTOM of my heart, my soul, my EVERYTHING, for believing in me enough to know just how much this moment meant to me. I will NEVER, EVER forget it, and you be looking for something in your mailbox soon....xxoo

and to Elliott....even if you never read this, YOU are a star. I don't care if you never sang another song, got on another stage, or graciously met another fan you are the EPITOME of grace, of EXCELLENCE, you are REAL, and you are beyond beautiful inside and out. American Idol got your foot in the door, and BLESS them for that, but YOUR SOUL, your SPIRIT, your HEART, and your VOICE, will guide you through the rest of your life. May you be blessed each and every day the way you have TOUCHED, and blessed so many in such a short period of time. I read the first part of your recap but I decided to wait until today to read the whole thing before posting. You told me the end would make me cry again, and you were right! It's worth it though, and you are so deserving of this as others have already said.

It is really cool that you got to see the 2nd show and the 2nd to last show. The pictures are absolutely priceless, and I know you will treasure them forever along with the wonderful memories and experiences. Thank you for the amazing recap Debbie! Yellin, your whole write-up was beautiful. Thank you for sharing. I had the biggest smile on my face while reading of your wonderful day and night. I remember reading your post from the beginning of the tour. I'm so happy that you got to meet Elliott this time and that he was as awesome as you thought he would be.

just wanted to thank each and everyone of you for the kind words, and your dedication to the E-Train and Elliott. I couldn't be prouder to belong to such a loving, genuine, supportive family!!! Sept 23, 2006 will go down in history as a day I will remember with the absolute FONDEST of memories, and always with a huge smile on my face. For those of you who may not know, I have been a drummer since the age of 13, but an extremely SHY one at that, but through meeting Elliott in person, it has helped me to see how important it is to follow your dreams and to believe in yourself. Whether I play to an audience of the spiders in my basement, or had the pleasure of playing to a crowd of people, I must believe in myself at all times. Thank you all, and thank you Elliott Yamin!!!!
