Title: Tailgating At The Fair

Hey everyone! We are so close to the BIG SOLO SHOW! WOO HOOOOOOOO
I am goign to the concert by myself, and am not real interested in doing the fair thing alone, but i did wonder if anyone would be doing any tail gating before the show, in the parking lot?
IF so, let's use this thread to establish where everyone can park, or where everyone can at least find the bulk of the others to hang out a bit. Maybe CHloe and her BIG OLE ETRAIN atop her car can be a good meeting point! LOL

Me too....definitely interested (if it's not raining)! Maybe I'll pick up a few funnel cakes at the fair...hmmmm....this has possibilities! :yes:

Sounds like fun! But I thought I read somewhere a while back that tailgating wasn't allowed in the fairgrounds parkinglot. Anyone else see that? :(

I hate to be a downer, but I think you are right. If you are planning to do that, you might want to check to be sure it's ok. Of course, you can always go into the fairgrounds together and eat fair food!

LOL well i dont want to do anything not allowed. We still can probably meet there early.
How can it not be allowed? that is also the raceway. Tailgating is a way of life for racefans isn't it? LOL

what time does the concert start??
if the weather is good, how about a few hours before the concert. I know at the tour concerts we arrived at all of them at least 5 hours ahead of time.....people to meet, tickets to get, sightings to be seen,meeting and greeting...etc.
also is there going to be a banner for this historic first? I think there should be a separate from the tour one, after all, this is a little piece of history!
Felisha, are you reading? What do you think??How do we go about it?

Maybe they mean tailgating with alcohol...I mean how can they stop you from opening your trunk and grabbing a soda?
