Description: Known or relatively unknown

I'm a smooth jazz nut, and in some of the CDs I've come across, I've found some great vocalists I've never heard before.

Sometimes well-known artists guest on mostly instrumental jazz CDs. On this one from Euge Groove, J.C. Chasez of In Sync fame guests on song #4 entitled "Give In To Me." here

Debi Nova

I discovered Debi on a Boney James CD "Pure." She sings "Appreciate, song #5 on this page.

ETA: To my knowledge, Debi only has a single out (not recent) called "One Rhythm" on CD Universe. This has more of a Latin flavor. She is from Costa Rica.

Just sharing if anyone is interested.

Both are very nice. I too love it when I find a guest artist that has eventually made it big on his/her own. For example, it wasn't until a couple of years ago that I realized that the vocalist on Jeff Lorber's "Say Love" (1994) was none other than Eric Benet. To this day, it is one of my all-time favorite songs. Here's the link in case you haven't heard it before. Just scroll down to "Say Love".

I love that song! Thanks for posting this marketingal. Did you hear Eric's CD Hurricane? It's the bomb! Especially "Pretty Baby" and "I Wanna Be Loved."
