As soon as Elliott's eclat of a concert concluded --oh, those billions of oohs, aahs, oh gods, raucus jubilation, defeaning rahs/roars, utter madness--I found myself bursting into song, notably "You've Got a Friend", mimicking Elliott's sublime style. And everyday, at various times, I would do my song bursts--and to hell with anyone across my path with arched eyebrows.
The only thing that I cannot do is the technically very difficult songs that Elliott performed, not the least are the scatting bit and the riffs and runs.
In appreciation of this mannah from heaven, and in lieu of having yet to buy his album, and because of Elliott's generosity with his God-given gift--including us having to bootleg his music--again in the absence yet of an official CD--would you be GENEROUS enough with your hard-earned money to donate to the cause near and dear to Elliott's heart, namely the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation?
I CERTAINLY WOULD! And how about you?

That is a good idea, Benito. I think I will make another contribution to JDRF in appreciation to Elliott for giving us some more of his fabulous music to enjoy!
Me too!
In fact, I'm sending $40 due to not being able to attend the concert and yet, being able to enjoy the efforts of Laclos for filming and others who've reported on it.
