Title: First Solo Trip

I got my license the other day. and today I took my first solo trip. hahaa. I followed my friend in her car and I drove my mother's truck. we went to Rite Aid, the grocery store, and the school.
it was fun. haha.

i was so nervous! haha. my friend got her license two months ago so she's used to it. but before i pulled out of the garage, i sat there for a second waiting for my mom to get into the car. because she had to ride in the passenger seat while i drove. hahaaa. it was so weirdd because i had noone to talk to. and while i was actually driving on the road. i kept thinking "oh my god, am i actually doing this?" hahaa.

Oh, and it's good to be a little nervous because it means that you care about what you are doing and the other drivers on the road! Just as long as you are not SO nervous that you cannot be comfortable enough to do the good job that you KNOW you are capable of doing! :woohoo: :D

That's awesome Justine!! Oh my, I can remember every second of my first unaccompanied trip in my mom's car the day I got my license. If I close my eyes and think about it, I can still feel that rush of exhilaration I got from it! Sigh.

That's great Justine! Did you pass the first time? My poor son failed his road test 3 times before he passed-- he was that nervous.

nope i didn't pass the first time. i passed the third time. while it was raining really hard! hahaa. the instructor said it so seriously. he goes "congradulations. you passed." and i sat there for a second before going, "I DID WHAT?!"
haaha. but yeah. i was really nervous the first time. and the second time i was still really nervous and made stupid mistakes. but the third time was simple and i wasn't nervous at all.
