Please don't hate anti-war activists, but I was really frustrated.
I understand what you're saying. That is a terrible thing. I am an Anti-War/Pacifistic person, but this is a different situation. I guess my only reservation about that is having only the United States be the one to actually take military action to stop what is going on in Darfur. No one denies that what is going on there is horrifying, but the United Nations as a whole should recognize the gravity of the situation and make a difference. This would be opposed to the idea of only one nation (likely the US) from becoming the "world police". Plus, as you mentioned in that writing, Iraq is a pressing issue right now as well as security in the United States itself even more so since 9-11. Please don't think that I'm saying that this should be ignored because it should not. However, we should really examine everything closely and make sure that other nations would support this and work towards change there. I hope that makes sense?

Soul Music, you said a lot more, which I really appreciate, than activists in my local community. At least, you look at the situation and give some time and thought to it.

I just heard a Speech about Darfur at a Debate/Speech Competition I judged this past weekend. It was really convincing and powerful. I think hearing that Speech has made me believe more in this cause.
