Title: Lionel Richie
Description: Anyone remember him?

One of my favorite old school dance songs is "Brick House", . Easy ....like Sunday Morning is one of my favorite Ballads.
I kind of turned cold to Lionel Richie back when he went all disco/pop , "all night long" .
Well I haven't heard any recent music by him, don't even know whether (sp?)he has even been recording music the last few years or not...anyway...I just listened to some music from his most recent CD and I was very pleasantly surprised...the genre itself is still a little poppy, but his voice was crystal clear...reminded me how good he was back in the days.
Might even listen to a few more songs :P

The Commodores Greatest Hits CD is one of my favorites. I'm listening to Sweet Love right now! Lionel Richie is the King of romantic ballads, as far as I'm concerned. He wrote alot of great songs for others, too. Wonderful musical genius, he is.

His Cd is called All that Love is or similar. and it reminds me a little of the guy that is neo(sp) neyo... (?),,the lyrics and melody are similar :)

I can see it in your eyes, I can see it in your smile.
You're all I've ever wanted, and my heart is open wide.
Because you know just what to say, and you know just what to do.
And I want to tell you so much, "I love you.".

Heard him on the radio the other day and I was thinking this voice sounds very familiar...DJ announced Lionel Richie and I nodded, yes that's him, indeed.
