I got glow bracelets and sticks today at the Dollar store. I think the girl thought I was nuts. Like someone said in another thread, the workers in some factory in China must be wondering what in the world is going on in America with all these green glows sticks. :rotfl: I can see them scratching their heads.

You have no idea how much I wish I could go to this one too. I'll be going to the Sacramento show on the 29th. San Jose is just too far for me to drive by myself and I would have to take an extra day off work.

Yesterday, my husband and I drove 2 hrs to SF to make sure of the route I was taking. He'll be gone so he was concerned. It's a good thing we did. The car I was planning on taking started heating up. Rental car for me. The route was easy so he is relieved. I drove all the way to Texas in a VW for crying out loud without any problems. OF COURSE, I wasn't an Oldie then. LOL :rotfl:

I now can pace the ride and make stops so these bones of mine can get some relief. LOL

It hit me yesterday that I have all this work left to do for the concert and I'm not panicked but I will say it has lit a fire under me. ENN stuff, album stuff, rental car, green shirt. Yipes. I need to SHOP. I'll ask my friend that I'm staying with for a good spot for a pre-meet. She lives in SJ and knows everything.

I don't know about you guys but I want something fun but not real loud. I want to be able to hear you talk, if you know what I mean.

What do you mean private tables? I talked to my friend in SJ. She said that she does think that the Sonoma Chicken House is in downtown. She usually goes to one closer to her home. She said every where downtown the parking is horrible and you have to spend money to park. She said the parking at HP is $15.

I asked her if she knew of anything we could have a pre-meet. She said there is a medium priced resturant in the mall around the corner from her house. She said it was quiet enough to visit and had good food. She said it was away from the Pavilion though.

I told her about the ENN thing and she was a little taken back but she seemed like she would go along with it.

Okay I got the update security checks for the HP Pavilion:

General Rules:

ENHANCED SECURITY MEASURES!

The HP Pavilion at San Jose, Silicon Valley Sports & Entertainment, law enforcement agencies and the NHL have announced changes in Security measures for all Guests attending events at HP Pavilion.

All Guests will be subject to search, which may include the use of Electronic devices, pat downs and inspections of bags.
Only small purses and baby bags will be permitted in the Building.
Guests are discouraged from bringing unnecessary items to HP Pavilion Events.

* Shoes & shirts are required at all times within the building.
* No audio or video recorders are allowed in the arena for any event.
* There is no smoking allowed anywhere inside the arena. There are designated smoking sections provided outside of the arena.


Parking:
1. There are a limited number of parking spaces available on site. The prices vary from $10.00 to $15.00. There are also many public and private lots situated near the Arena. The attendants accept only cash. Parking is also available outside of the Arena.
Sorry, no RV parking available

Miscellaneous:
1. Doors open one hour before event time.


I talked to my friend Linda in San Jose today. She prefers to park in the arena area for safety. She said we need to be there early around 6:00 p.m. or a LITTLE later to park in the arena area.

Sounds like cameras may be a problem unless you can have them at the meet n greet.

Linda says that the Chicken coop is quite noisy so visiting may be hard. Max's that she suggests, however, is 7 miles from the arena near her home. She may get in touch with me this week if she can think of something else. You can walk to Sonoma Chicken Coop if you like from the arena area. She suggests that we don't leave our cars outside the arena area at night.

I update you if I have any more info from her.

The latest I heard from Felisha, she is the banner creator, she will be in charge of Sacramento, and San Jose. She hope to be in the front area of the arena, but if the radio stations and tv stations stake out the front she'll go to the back entrace area.
