Description: AI is over and done with for Elliott

Now that Elliott is finished with American Idol, how about removing the stuff at the top of this website about the program???

Just a suggestion :D

ElliottCat101 - November 24, 2006 05:10 AM (GMT)
what stuff?

courtie59 - November 24, 2006 01:22 PM (GMT)
Good question! What stuff??

I think the OP probably means the "American Idol Season 5 Tour Stories, Pics & Happenings" and the "American Idol Season 5 Tour Chat" Forums (Fora?) that are at the very top of the page. Even though I understand the idea of wanting to put distance between Elliott and AI, a lot of people spent a lot of time being kind enough and generous enough to share their stories and pictures with those of us who weren't able to attend a concert! :glomp: And besides, Elliott was the STAR of the AI Tour, so it's all good! :woohoo: :rocker: :glomp: :etrain:

I am new on the E-Train. Until this year I had never watched AI, and had it not been for my attraction to Elliott I would probably not have continued watching the show. Recently I purchased a home computer, previously to that my only access to a computer was through work, and AI sites were blocked by the company’s IT Division.

A week or so ago I thought I’d check to see if there was anything about Elliott, not realizing what a big impact the AI show and tour was. I delightfully fear that my interest in Elliott and his career is becoming an obsession.

There is a lot of very insightful conversation on this train, and since the AI show, I understand, is now in re-runs it might be premature to remove the AI content because there is a good possibility that those watching the re-runs, or possibly first time watchers, may renew there enthusiasm as I did.

Although I do agree that Elliott should distance himself from AI it might be premature to remove all AI content. Archiving some older threads may be something to think about, but I would hate to see it all disappear.

If the OP was refering to the AI threads, pics etc, as you suggested TYE, I don't agree that it should be removed. I'd be upset if all that disappeared - it was all part of what brought us here, very special moments for a lot of fans and part of the love and excitement that we've all shared.

Maybe an archive of some sort, as you said, May. That's possible - but at a later stage.

I don't think it should be removed, either. Looking back on my post, I realize it might not have been worded very clearly. (I should do a better job of proof-reading!) I definitely want it all to stay! :woohoo: :rocker: :etrain:

TYE, your post was very clearly worded. Don't see any problem with it :D

I think I was starting to get VERY tired last night. I'm glad my post made sense! :friends: :D

I think the AI stuff should stay as well.
