Simple Sesame

2 Cups soft butter
1 1/2 Cups sugar
3 Cups flour
1 Cup sesame seeds
2 Cups shredded coconut
1/2 Cup finely chopped almonds or pecans

In a large bowl cream butter.
Gradually add sugar and continue to beat til light and fluffy...
Add flour and mix until combined...
Stir in sesame seeds.coconut,and nuts until well mixed.....
Divide dough into thirds...
Place one third on a sheet of wax paper..
Shape into a long roll 2'' in diameter..
Repeat with other two.....
Wrap and refrigerate til firm....
Oven 300 degrees..
Cut 1/4 inch slices
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 30 minutes....
Put on wire rack to cool...
Makes 4 dozen.......


i usually mix this dough with my hands.....
and i make ahead and freeze the rolls......
