Check out his song "Lost Without You" on aolmusic.com. Ace should give Robin a call and take lessons on how falsetto should sound. Thicke sounds beautiful.
Robin is Alan Thicke's son and he is also going to be opening up for Justin Timberlake. Please check out the video. He is so grown and sexy and I hope Elliott's style is similiar to his when he starts making videos.
I've loved Robin ever since his frst cd came out. His new cd is amazing, I love all the songs!
Robin Thicke is great! I actually just got his 1st album a couple of months ago, and I love it. I'll have to get the second one, I wasn't sure it would be as good, based on some of the reviews I've seen. But, I think it's worth my money, if it's anything like the first. I have to admit, I was a little surprised that Alan Thicke was his dad--Dr. Seaver? He doesn't exactly scream neo-soul. Althought I looked up the family on Wikipedia and apparently mom and dad Thicke wrote the "Facts of Life" song which I still know by heart (so they know catchy).
Anyway, you're definitely right about the falsetto--it just sounds natural for him. I never got that from Ace. To be honest, I never got Ace at all.

ITA, about Ace. I tried to ‘get’ him and voted for him a couple of times in the beginning just because I felt I was supposed to. As the show went on, I began to wonder why he was there. Apparently, America began to wonder too! Even Simon was rooting for him but eventually had to let go of his Ace fantasy and question Ace’s abilities. As for Thicke, he totally rocked that song ‘Lost Without You.’ They played it on a station here in Houston and at first I thought it was Maxwell! I have to pick up his cd.
I've been hearing more of Robin nowadays..it's nice to have all this info on our board
....it's like automatic updates on who's current nowadays.
