Title: For The Press Forum
Description: ...open to suggestions

Hello Everyone!

I think that E's fans often discover sites where there are opportunities to post artwork and a "BIO" of Elliott....and instead of wringing our hands hoping that Elliott's people can keep up, I'm proposing a Media/Press Sub-Forum with approved artwork, bio information, etc.

This way there would be easy access to approved artwork and content, and we could actually serve as an "Information Portal" for Elliott's people and publicist.

There are some major web sites where Elliott Yamin is searchable, and I think any and all of Elliott's fan spots and MySpaces should be provided with approved material so enthusiastic or potentially interested fans and/or reporters don't find this:

Elliott's Listing at Billboard.com

I may be nuts, but I believe we can demonstrate Elliott's popularity by driving up traffic at these sites, which are willing and credible sources of information, if we can get interesting artwork, news tidbits, etc.

Sounds like a good idea to me. We are used to using anything and everything privately, but that is going to be more problematic in the future. As well, there needs to be a mechanism for "press" to get approved pics and bios of Elliott. I don't know if we will end up being the site that provides that function - but we could be. I see us eventually morphing into Elliott's "official" fan site perhaps.

It's standard for Elliott's publicist to create a "press kit" for the media, available both in hard-copy and digitally. It is also standard for them to monitor major sites for accurate information. The press kit should already be made-up. It would include approved video, print, pictures, bio, background, etc.. It will also contain his publicist's name and PR Firm, and how to contact them. You should contact Elliott's publicist and ask them for their "press kit" for Elliott.

That would surely be helpful Dolphin - a press kit that is UPDATED on a regular basis.

I like it!!! An on-line "press kit."

I'll pass it on.
