Title: New Year's Resolutions

lindagt - December 31, 2006 06:20 PM (GMT)
Anyone have some New Year's resolutions? I've given up on the exercise/eat properly ones - that should just be lifestyle. My new one is to get out to hear LIVE music at least once a month in 2007. What other resolutions do you recommend?

To actually get a birthday card sent out to each and every close friend and relative this year for their birthdays.

I m working on writing more letters, and reviving the art of correspondance again, I miss those chatty letters from old friends and family I used to receive

I also resolve to make amends more quickly when I am angry with someone
and clear the air, and restore good will as soon as possible, life is too short to hold grudges

With my kids, I will work on letting go and letting them make mistakes,
not step in and rescue them so much.
That will be plenty for any yr!

I am going to try to become a better person all-around. (How's that for nice and vague?)! :cheerleader:

I am going to try to curb my tendency to speak before thinking. Being a Tauraun woman, I tend to speak my mind and gut without thinking about it.

I am really like to help and care about issues, but sometimes my emotions tend to get the better of me.

My New Year's Resolution is ...

to not make any New Year's Resolutions.

Just kidding.
I would like to start loosing a little weight and to forgive the people that have hurt my feelings from the past.

Here's a New Year's Resolution: To not spend all day on the E-Train, and to have a life outside of Elliott! Oops, already failed! :santarotfl:   :xmasetrain:

I'm sorry that I can't help you with that. I'm perfectly single and unattached, and I really don't know how stressful it probably is! You have all of my best New Year's Good Luck wishes! Maybe that helps? :newyear2:

Perfectly single? You meant perfect and single right? :P

ThankYouElliott - January 10, 2007 04:09 PM (GMT)

Well, I meant that I am perfectly happy being single! :woohoo: :rocker: But, hey, if you want to think that I'm perfect, who am *I* to argue? :P

Todd - January 10, 2007 04:14 PM (GMT)
I can't argue...it would only lead to the perfect answer :woohoo:
