Haha, you guys are too funny, starting almost identical threads at the same time! So I've merged the two threads, sorry if the posts seem a little out of order, there's no way to get around it.

Wow,

Jack spends two years in a Chinese prison, doesn't say a word, is tortured beyond belief, and then is brought back to the U.S. only to be handed over to another bad guy who wants to kill him.

Of course, Jack outwits his captors and joins up with a terrorist trying to go straight to head off other terrorists who are still "old school."

I love Chloe as much as ever and her ex-husband as a work colleage is fun. I love that he does not play by the rules and was selling shoes for years because of it. Naturally, he just happens to have access to a Uzebekestan satelliite that is "off the grid."

Got to love it. Can't wait for tonight.

yow!!!! Last night's show was too much!.I had to run out of the room at least 5 times! I guess I forgot how graphically violent it was. I mean I watched the show 3 times before I actually saw the "bite" scene. I almost got sick!.But I still love the show and can't wait for tonight's.

This is a "water cooler" show at my office. We all have to talk about it the next day.

Even the guys were shocked and grossed out by that one scene.

They do say Viewer Discretion advised, but wow, that is not something you expect to see on television during the 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. viewing hour.

By the way, about Tuesday night's show...I am really sad about Curtis.

Waaaah, i cant belive what happned..
Curtiiiiiiis..! :bawl:

chloewannabee - January 17, 2007 12:12 AM (GMT)
OMIGOD!!!I can't believe that Jack had to kill Curtis. Why couldn't he just immobilize him. That was soooo sad. It made me cry.
The whole show was really scary, I can't imagine where they are going to go from here. I keep hoping that we'll find out the b was not the real deal, and we'll just go thru the trials and tribulations of finding the "real" remaining 4,
Why do I feel like this not just a tv show!!!

That's what I mean about being a "water cooler" show.

Everyone was saying, why didn't he shoot Curtis in the arm or the shoulder???

I did get choked up because the look on Curtis' face after he'd been hit was, "you shot me....I can't believe it." Without a word he looked so hurt and bewildered that someone he trusted could do this to him.

Okay, here's my next question, why didn't the guy who was in the Valencia location where the detonation device was being attached, why didn't he try to do something when he saw the other guy go to explode the nuclear bomb?

I keep hoping that we will find out next week that the potency of the bomb's chemical components had lapsed, and that the mushroom plumb was noxious but not fatal. That it will be a warning. And, the remaining four suitcase bombs are not from the Soviet cache, but are newly created with an active "component mix" that will be truely lethal......NEXT TIME. Otherwise, wouldn't everyone in CTU be toast??

That was too much, how are they gonna consistently do this all year, we have like 20 more episodes. I agree, Jack should have just shot Curtis in the shoulder or in the arm or something, it didn't have to be in the neck. Curtis was like his right hand man for the last 5 years, as far as I can recall.

Jack biting a guy's neck to death, absolutely disgusting and I love it!

Anyway, I cannot believe the premise of this season. I wonder what the former president has to do with any of this, he was greatlast year by the way so I wouldn't mind having him back.

Who else thinks President Palmer is too young to be a believable president?

chloewannabee - January 17, 2007 12:08 PM (GMT)
FLIPPER!!Where have you been!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not only is Wayne too young, but he is too everything. How the heck did he get to be pres? no real credentials, plus he's a really bad actor imo.
Hey maybe the show is gonna end next week....they were releasing the dvd of the first 4 hours yesterday! Why???

Hey Flip!!

I have to keep remembering that two years have elapsed and that we missed Palmer's presidential campaign and election, as well as the former President's removal. I did love that actor. He was so slimy!!

But next week we'll learn how the consortium who was pulling the strings two years ago is involved with this group of dastardly terrorists. Did you see the preview for next week where Jack has the head honcho from the consortium in a head lock?? This actor is also a great bad guy. Well cast.

I agree the new President Palmer is a little weak, which is too bad. The actor who played his brother was so commanding. So, he's a tough act to follow. But, his weakness as President is what gives his snaky Chief of Staff the nerve to unilaterally set up detention camps, etc. It may have been planned that way.

See you all next week!

I love this show to death but D6 is turning out to be all kinds of wrong! I hated the fact they had to be so trigger happy with all the familiar characters....Palmer, Tony, Michelle, Edgar...who's next? It started out so strongly and then it went south. All these new faces are such incompetent actors...where the hell did the producers get them from....and this a*shat Doyle character is getting on my nerves!! If the producers were sprucing him up to take over from Jack if he was ever killed off, I'm out! The only saving grace this season is Jack and even then he's getting less and less scenes of his own :pissesoff: . The Bauer family triade dynamics isn't working for me as well and Cromwell as Papa Bauer...nice :banghead: . What an anticlimax season so far after the rush of D5 :dunce:

Flipboy5 - April 11, 2007 04:23 AM (GMT)
They just solved the whole bomb so great but I just knew something was up again when they did it so early on. How is Jack gonna save Audrey now? This episode was too much. I love how Jack killed fayed, silver spoons said it best, "damn Jack!"
