today. Elizabeth mentioned him briefly but that means that he hasn't been forgotten. Maybe maybe they will have him on the show soon. Maybe I'm hoping too much lol.

I saw that! It was so great, you can tell Elizabeth is really a fan. I wish I had of taped it, then I could have typed the quote. Anyway, I know she was just saying how she remembered him from the beginning (auditions), and I just thought it was great that his name was the only one she mentioned!!
I'm so proud of E and the way he's handled everything. I canNOT wait to hear his stuff. And I'm so glad to know he's got some fans who will undoubted spread the word (on TV) about how great his album is when it comes out.

I was so glad to hear Elizabeth mention him and how much she loved seeing him for the first time.
Did you notice that he was the ONLY contestant mentioned? I LOVED it! :woohoo:

I was a little worried about the start of the new American Idol season in that people might move on, but instead I think Elliott will be mentioned and remembered a great deal - lots of comparisons, lots of good memories - only positive stuff for Elliott. I now think the iron will be hotter this Spring than it would have been the last few months for Elliott'd release.

Did anyone notice that a contestant in Memphis in a green shirt sang Elliott's audition song, and no one mentioned Elliott? The guy was good, but nothing like Elliott. I was kinda frustrated!!! :no:

Not only that - he was from VA! It was mentioned in the Richmond paper along with the article about Elliott's album.

Yeah, as soon as he started singing, Paula started whispering in Randy's ear. I just knew they were talking about him trying to be like Elliott, but instead, they said he reminded them of Justin Timberlake! :poke:

I sure hope no one is compared to E in a good way because I really don't think anyone really could compare.Some may try ,but there's just no way they could have the versatilty,or even that exact tone,no way!Some may be good,but just no way will be as great as E!!!!
