No, he wasn't on Today Show or Regis & Kelly nor was he on Ellen...Go figure

what the heck? why not!??? how unfair is that?

Bummer...too busy prepping for the finale. Sigh, I guess it is understandable...Just not enough E to go around lol

The rehearsal schedule for the final on Wednesday interferred with E's talk show appearances. I don't think it's a slight to Elliott. Hopefully we'll see him on these shows next week after the #1 and #2 have made their appearances. (I can't even say their names, it's still pretty raw). The best thing for E anyways at this point is to get ready to blow everyone away at the finals, especially in his duet with Mary J. Blige. When he shows what he can do, hopefully he'll get 19 to make a committment or back down and let the other companies waiting in the wings work with E to get his records out. Also, the silver lining in the delay in E's appearances on the talk show circuit could work to his benefit to get a little distance from the show since by then it'll be over, and start to be seen as an artist in his own right. It's all good!

I don't think Elliott had time to make the usual rounds due to having to practice for the finale. That's probably why he didn't get to appear on those talk shows. I guess we'll have to wait to see Elliott on those shows, hopefully before his first CD is released and he does the publicity shows for that.

BTW I just got a phone call from my mom who said she heard an interview where both Randy and Simon said that Elliott should have won AI, or even Chris, because those two were the most talented.

I hope Simon realizes that American got it wrong this time. They won't be making as much money with either Taylor or Kat winning, and I feel that Elliott will be much better off with another recording label.

That's laughable to hear now, since Simon pretty much iced it for Kat and Taylor last Tuesday when he basically gave Elliott the "you're a nice guy and your Mom should be proud" kiss-off, before we even got to vote! :poke: Take that, Simon!
