Title: Leona Lewis
Description: wow!

i had some downtime at work today so what did i do? why, surf view streaming videos on the net of course. lol. and then i stumbled upon x-factor videos and heard leona lewis and i was completely blown away (on a totally different way as opposed to being blown away be E of course). anyone else heard about her? x-factor doesn't air here in the philippines but i've heard some comment about shayne ward (who won the first x-factor i think).

but if you haven't heard leona yet, check out her videos on google and youtube. the curious thing is that on x-factor, she performed songs that were performed by many popular AI contestants (summertime, without you, somewhere over the rainbow) and her first single is even a cover of "a moment like this" and she manages to shine.

I've listened to a bunch of her "X-Factor" performances via youtube, and I think she's great. She can sing Whitney and Mariah songs better than anybody I've heard cover those two on American Idol.

She might be making an appearance on AI this season. X-Factor happens to be Simon Cowell's baby and I think he's trying to bring her music to the US.

that's what i gleaned from research too. that she just might make an appearance this season on idol. hmm... interesting. well, she's uber talented so she deserves having won the contest.

it's also endearing that she seems "unaware"of how extremely talented she is. she's unassuming and seems very down to earth. very elliott-like.

I was following X Factor this whole summer and she was absolutely AMAZING! :wow:

Each performence was stunning and brilliant! She will be performing on AI this year so I'm excited! :woohoo:

Her performance of "I Will Always Love You" was absolutely amazing. It was one of the rare times that a singer reduced me to tears. She has such a powerful voice and range and still can control the pitch/tone beautifully. I think she is one of the rare women who are near the likes of Whitney, Mariah, and Celine.
