Title: Lost
Description: Season III ActII

SheilaHI - January 27, 2007 01:47 AM (GMT)
Anyone gearing up for the second half of season three? I am and I have been keeping up with the "Lost Moments" each week and it looks like the new episode on the 7th will involve a little betrayal on Juliet's part. Maybe she's just trying to get on Jack's good side...if you know what I mean. Personally I am looking forward to seeing the future-seeing Scotsman!

I'm a fan, love the show. I'll be watching.

ElliottCat101 - January 27, 2007 03:57 AM (GMT)
I CAN NOT WAIT FOR LOST TO START!!

Flipboy5 - January 29, 2007 05:51 AM (GMT)
We should have a poll on who's gonna die? I put my money on the Claire. I really don't care much for her character and it would help Charlie's character as I assume he'd end up taking care of the baby.

Also, for the record, Kate should be with Jack. No offense to Sawyer fans.

May10787 - January 29, 2007 01:13 PM (GMT)
How soon into the new season will Sawyer get the s_ _t kicked out of him? Love the guy but how many times has been injured tortured used for target practice. I know it’s a mystery Island, but what will it take to keep the man down.

SheilaHI - February 3, 2007 06:33 AM (GMT)
Kate will do the kicking, when she kicks him to the curb for Jack. She's the better conman, or should I say conwoman!

SheilaHI - February 5, 2007 11:06 AM (GMT)

3 more days LOST people

ElliottCat101 - February 7, 2007 06:26 PM (GMT)

It's tonight!!!! :woohoo:

May10787 - February 8, 2007 04:54 AM (GMT)
I watched Lost, and again I'm hooked. Last season I missed a couple of episodes so I don't know why Locke came to need a wheel chair. Can someone fill me in.

Seeing Ethan again was creepy.

ElliottCat101 - February 8, 2007 07:27 AM (GMT)
We don't know why Locke is in a wheelchair yet. The producers said that will be told this season... Can't wait!

I LOVED Lost tonight, even though Juliette is not my favorite character.

I really want to see more of Alex. That chick is really growing on me! :woohoo:

SheilaHI - February 8, 2007 09:13 AM (GMT)
I love this show! It amazes me how clever these writers are...each turn reveals some new clue leading you to believe you're on the verge of figuring out what is really going on, and the next thing you know they're pulling on your heart strings and you don't want the episode to end. Each new episode only leaves you wanting more. It would be nice to see episodes back to back like watching it on the DVD, but then you have a whole week to contemplate the next sequence of events and where that will lead. Next week is the big Desmond episode...sigh

Thanks ElliottCat:

So who do you think was driving the bus that took out Juliet’s ex-husband? That was brutal.

ElliottCat101 - February 9, 2007 03:02 AM (GMT)
haha that was brutal... LOVED IT!

I have no idea who was driving the bus... Maybe Ethan?

Flipboy5 - February 12, 2007 05:45 AM (GMT)
Yeah, that bus thing caught me off guard coz it didn't occur to me that she mentioned that to them (rewatched it courtesy of TiVo). Juliet has a very disarming look to me which is why I don't hate her.

I have a question though, is Michael and his son off the island, I mean, was that the trade off, Jack, Kate and Sawyer for their getting out of the island?

ElliottCat101 - February 12, 2007 06:05 AM (GMT)
the others gave Micheal and Walt a boat in exchange ofr Kate, Sawyer, and Jack.

ladycentaur - February 16, 2007 07:56 AM (GMT)
Did you guys catch on who Alex actually is? She's Rousseau's daughter...ya know...the French chick who captured Sayid and kept demanding to know where Alex was. Like mother, like daughter...digging holes in the ground. :)

I LOVE Lost...

And based on what Desmond said...Charlie is gonna bite the dust...even though he's trying his best to keep him alive.

ElliottCat101 - February 16, 2007 09:53 PM (GMT)

I really don't believe Charlie will die. I can not let myself believe that Lost would make that "Universe has a way of correcting itself" crap turn out true.

May10787 - February 17, 2007 03:46 PM (GMT)
It has been more than a few years since I studied political history in high school, but

Is this a coincidence?

David Hume was a Scottish philosopher (I think in the 18th century) who argued the theory of “cause and effect” versus the “psychological habits of nature”. Simple example; is a person’s action really the cause of the next incident/action or is it all randum (i.e. bad sh_t happens just because).

Is this another coincidence?

Hume was influenced by an earlier scholar named John Locke who theorized individual rights as a person’s moral right to freedom of action.

I wonder where the script writers are getting their insperation.

Is there going to be another clash between Hume and Locke?

ElliottCat101 - February 18, 2007 05:52 PM (GMT)
 hmmm... That is VERY interesting, May...

ElliottCat

The coincidences between Hume and Lock came to me while watching the push the button in the hatch episodes last season. I just finished watching last week’s episode (I have classes on Wednesdays so I tape it and watch it later, usually Sundays after Coronation Street).

When Penny’s father told Desmond he wasn’t good enough to drink his MacCutcheon Whiskey, I fell off my rocker, and dragged myself to the computer to confirm. “MacCutcheon” is the name of a very strategic chess move. (My brother taught me chess, and I hate it).

I am sure some kind of “is the universe in control sh_t” or the “universe is _ucking empty” and the lights went out long ago is going to happen between Hume and Locke.

I hope Desmond is wrong and Charlie stays around, he is scr_wed up, but such a sweetie, I want to see both Desmond and Charlie in a kilt. Must be my Celtic roots.

Although I did like Desmond in the buff.

ladycentaur - February 19, 2007 12:52 AM (GMT)
I have a feeling that Charlie is going to be the next one to die...I like him alright, but he drives me nuts how jealous he is of Desmond talking to Claire. I mean...if Charlie has the hots for Claire so bad he needs to just make a freaking move on her already. His hesitation makes me want to cuff him upside the melon, to be honest, lol.

The character of Desmond is just brilliant , it broke my heart to see him get berated by Widmore, break up with Penny, and then realize he can change it after all. The only thing that HAS TO happen now is for Penny(knowing her father is an a**hole) to find Desmond and the island.

I don't think Charlie is going anywhere soon, Desmond will do what he can to keep him alive. Look at how long he pushed that damn button...3 years!

SheilaHI - March 2, 2007 11:28 AM (GMT)
Jack off with the others, to take care of Ben...Sawyer and Kate reunited with their lostmates...Des apologizes for drinking Sawyer's whiskey...Jin learns some English...Hurley flashes back and decides he and Charlie need a little hope a la a ride in a beat up old VW van. Hurley's episode was fun and a break in the intensity, next week back to business...Kate finds Rousseau to help get Jack back (who she really loves).

ElliottCat101 - March 3, 2007 08:45 PM (GMT)

This past episode was so good! I forgot how much I loved those losties! I hope they show less Others and more of the people I love from now on..

SheilaHI - March 12, 2007 10:08 PM (GMT)
Sayid, Sayid, Sayid...the smartest one on the island. Jack who? Naveen Andrews is so awesome. Frankly, in my opinion, Desmond and Sayid must be seen in each and every episode!

SheilaHI - March 25, 2007 10:26 AM (GMT)
Where would Lost be without John Locke to shake things up...I'm mean blow things up!

Locke is the key, if I only knew to what. The island and Locke have secrets that everyone else, especially Jack, could never understand. Desmond knows though...

Flipboy5 - March 28, 2007 05:45 AM (GMT)
I hope Locke gets to kill his father, he is such an awful man.

I wonder what Jack will do to Locke though, he must be so furious for the next couple of episodes since he was so close to getting out of there. It's disturbing how smart and manipulative Ben is.

Who do you guys think should die between Claire, Desmond and Charlie?

SheilaHI - March 28, 2007 10:10 AM (GMT)
Penny has to find Des, Claire and Jack have to discover that they are half brother/sister, and Charlie...well Charlie's a goner!

Sorry Dom, but really how long will you and Evangeline last as a couple if you have to live and work together?

ElliottCat101 - March 29, 2007 01:34 PM (GMT)
Last nights episode was my favorite episode EVER!!!! :rocker:

Flipboy5 - March 30, 2007 03:40 AM (GMT)
Last night's episode proves again that it is one of the best shows on TV, maybe ever. How those two were in on the whole island this whole time, so intelligently written. Though that episode lacked Jack, Kate and Locke, the quality of that episode was similar to that of the first season.

Hurley is always so funny. I love that he loves the show "Expose", he needs to be in every episode. How creepy that Nikki was still alive?

SheilaHI - March 31, 2007 10:57 AM (GMT)
I totally agree, the best thing about LOST is that each eppy is so different, and just when you think you know...you don't know anything! Call me crazy, but I love getting lost each week. I'm so glad it's AT LEAST got another season.

SheilaHI - April 12, 2007 10:04 AM (GMT)
Five Episodes To Go! Looks like the others are headed to the beach...the end of the season always reveals something really big...rumor has it the show will be turned upside down in the process. Hmmm!

Flipboy5 - April 13, 2007 04:12 AM (GMT)
I knew that beetch was up to no good. I hope Kate gets to kill her. She fooled me too with her disarming smile. Juliet must die!

Lost Spoilers...actually hints of what's to come, but no revelations...the suspense is killing me!

SheilaHI - April 19, 2007 05:01 PM (GMT)
After last night's double dose of Lost, if you are not intrigued, then I guess it's best to stick with Grey's or Housewives. You don't have to know the backstory to feel the chemistry between Desmond and Penny. The look in Desmond's eye...oh boy!...I wish I was at the other end of that stare. What can I say, another drunk Desmond scene, he's so adorable when he's singing sipping a bottle of wine. Guess he wasn't cut out to be a monk after all!

Jin tells a mean Korean ghost story...
Des saves Charlie once more...
Penny is looking for Desmond...
Kate is jealous of Juliet...
Jack is over Kate...
Sawyer doesn't care how he gets it...
All Kate has to do is ask...
Juliet is a "still" an other, don't trust her...
The other are coming to the beach...
The sh*t is about to hit the fan...er...the palm tree...
Start digging!

bella86 - April 24, 2007 07:29 AM (GMT)
Yeah Sheila you and me both-regarding the Dessy comment! (don't they have a drool icon)

My list of hot guys on Lost:
1) Charlie- Everyone calls him the lucky hobbit who managed to snag Evangeline but I think she's the lucky one to be able to hook up with Dom
2) Desmond- Aww his love for Penny is unshakeable..you just wanna hug him.
3) Jack- Sure he's the crybaby in the show but have you looked at his muscles?
4) Sawyer- Meh, he's not that hot, but his soft side does appeal to me. But I wouldn't want to shag him lol.

Flipboy5 - May 1, 2007 09:36 PM (GMT)
For me, Lost now is just as great as the beginning and the end of Season 1. It's crazy that, that lady had Desmond and Penny's picture. Brother provides the show with great acting, Hurley is funny as ever and I am so happy that Jin and Sun's storylines continue to be the best.

What do you think of Juliet saying she hates Ben? I still do not like her although she really does have this disarming vibe over me.

Locke comes back this week, I can't wait.

ick I hate Juliet... she is selfish and will do anything as long as it benefits her (at least that's how I see her)..
