Last year Robin Thicke opened for India Irie and John Legend and earned a lot of respect in the industry since he could hold an audience of people who love great voices. I wish the same for Elliott especially since his voice is in a whole different league.

I'm with you. PLEASE let him come to the Greater Philadelphia area!

I hope that Elliott performs at the Fox Theater in Atlanta when he tours. It's a great place for concerts. A lot of acts play at The Tabernacle, but the Fox Theater makes you want to dress up and have dinner before or after the concert. Amazing atmosphere. Luther Vandross performed there.

Since spring does not end until June, it's hard to guess when the tour will start.

I second Philadelphia, thinking the Tower Theater where Taylor is suppose to perform this year.

I also second the Fox in Atlanta. Great place! I could find my way there especially in the summer.

I wasn't aware of Taylor at the Tower Theater. I know he'll be over an hour away from me at the American Music Theater in Lancaster County, but it's a school night, so it won't work for me. Tower would work. I'll have to check for the date.

I hope Elliott comes to Tower! I'd take the kids. This is an intergenerational Elliott fan family. My husband, kids and parents love him too! All of the kids, parents and teachers at school and our 84 year old male crossing guard love him as well.

I think he will tour every part of the country. He might not get to every big city, but I bet he'll be within driving distance for everybody. Let's hope!

I am hoping he comes to NY in one of the smaller venues. There are so many great places in the city and out on Long Island that would be great for him. He would be great to hear his soulful sound with great acoustics!! :friends:

I agree about the smaller venue - more intimate. Would suit his style so much better. Also, someone mentioned he might be an opening act for someone - I'm pretty sure all the news items said it would be a solo tour. Hope so. I'm in Richmond and I can't help but think he'll appear in more than one venue here, hopefully. For those who live in an area that's not close to one of his tour venues, all I can say is......ROAD TRIP!!! :dance:

I'm really hoping that we get enough advance notice about the tour dates in Richmond that we can plan one of those etrain homecomings we've been talking about! Nothing would be better than getting the State Fair crowd back together again - along with even more fans of course.

I hope so too Linda. I really want to finally meet all of you. You guys could always come out to the west coast too... :grin:
