Wow! I have to admit I thought Prince might be too much of a Diva to perform in the pouring rain - but that had to be the top Super Bowl halftime show ever! Prince is the man! I couldn't help but to remember finale night - and the big surprise end - and me sitting there babbling "OMG,OMG it's Prince - how DID they get him to do this?"

I agree. It was the best SB halftime show I have ever seen. He was AMAZING! I was lovin it! His voice was awesome, his guitar playing was genius, he was so fun and entertaining. I just love him. Purple Rain in the pouring rain...how perfect.
I was worried about him slipping on the wet stage, though, since he always wears heels. :) Love the Purple One!!! :rocker: :woohoo:

Prince sounded amazing. Loved the show. We kept waiting for a mass of purple lights to come on at the end to emphasize the Purple Rain. Man, I loved dancing to this guy back in the day.
My husband wondered before he came out if his dancers would be holding umbrellas over his head. Seeing him perform in the rain made him a little more "real" for me because he often does act diva-ish.

Yeah, Prince was a real pro performing so well in the pouring rain. I was wondering how he would handle it, and he didn't seem to let it bother him. :rocker: I loved when he finally ditched his scarf or bandana or whatever that was on his head. Loved the curtain, too. ;)
Did anyone else think that Billy Joel butchered the National Anthem at the beginning of the game? I normally like Billy Joel quite a bit, and I thought his performance was very disappointing. :blink:

Best halftime show in years. They should get ACDC for next year's game, or Journey. The old school artists just do it better, IMO.
