Title: Elliott Already Has An Impersonator!
Description: Should E be flattered?!

CathleenSusan - February 10, 2007 07:45 AM (GMT)
LMAO!!!

Check out this myspace profile and listen to the song "Best Friend":

http://www.myspace.com/elliottyaminn
(the extra n IS NOT a typo btw)

Haha, I found this so hilarious, and yet so confusing at the same time. This guy sounds nothing like Elliott IMO.

And to add insult to injury, this guy's imposter profile shows up when you do a search for Elliott on myspace! UGH!

ThankYouElliott - February 10, 2007 03:04 PM (GMT)

That's kind of freaky. Especially with the picture of Elliott. :noway:

PDXJon - February 10, 2007 03:09 PM (GMT)
Cool.

GypsyNFla - February 10, 2007 03:49 PM (GMT)
This is just wrong to me.

ETA: What do you all think?

harleywoman - February 10, 2007 03:58 PM (GMT)
There are also a couple of imposter myspace pages for Jaime as well and people really think it's her (not going to elaborate just making a point). To me, it's sad that you have to pretend to be somebody else to get attention.

BTW, I really do ride a Harley.

GypsyNFla - February 10, 2007 04:01 PM (GMT)
Harleywoman, I noticed that too about Jaime impersonators. I got a friend invite from one of them, but since I don't know who it is, I won't add them.

DoYouMean_Yamin? - February 10, 2007 04:29 PM (GMT)
This is wierd!

It's so pathetic, isn't it? It pisses me when people post other people's pics on their myspace page. I know of someone who has multiple myspace accounts (under different names) and posts pictures of good-looking male models on his profiles so he can get more female friends. I hope one day, those women would find out that this guy is just deceiving them.

I think it's better not to post any picture at all if you don't want others to see what you look like.

flowercrazy - February 10, 2007 05:53 PM (GMT)
I think it's funny, though the guy IS a loser.

sharonburr - February 10, 2007 11:22 PM (GMT)
HOW CAN HE GET AWAY WITH THIS????? Why on earth would he even want to do this? This really bugs me.

CathleenSusan - February 11, 2007 12:58 AM (GMT)
I think what bugs me about this profile is that it is very confusing. For someone who is not very familiar with Elliott, they might actually think it is him singing the retched song and wonder why people are making such a fuss over Elliott, when his (the imposter) voice pretty much sucks.

TxRangerette - February 11, 2007 03:40 AM (GMT)
My Techie Kid said that we just have to get used to false profiles because it's pretty
common on MySpace! When E gets more publicity, the more impostors there will be.
Anyway, Bedford is 20 minutes from where I live...if I knew this impersonator's address, maybe I should go knock on his door and ask for an autograph, lol!! Of course, I'm joking! But that would be just interesting to see his reaction??

georgiafan1 - February 11, 2007 04:58 AM (GMT)
Sadly, a lot of people set up fake profiles to impersonate real artists on MySpace. There were so many fake MySpace accounts set up in one singer's name that when he actually set up a MySpace account, he had his picture taken holding a laptop with his MySpace page on it to prove that that was really him, not one of the fakes. Too bad that artists have to prove that they are the real person.

It's hard to believe that people would actually believe that Elliott or Jaime contacted them to request to be their friends. It would not make sense.

On a brighter note, Elliott now has over 10,000 MySpace friends.

E'll Probably End Up W/ The Most Myspace Imposters Once He's Public & Popular! TX, so funny!

ThankYouElliott - February 11, 2007 06:02 PM (GMT)

I still think it's bizarre.

Down further it does say his name is Nicholas Farish. He probably thinks he sounds like Elliott. Maybe he'll audition for AI!!

I think its comical! Good choice for the Elliott picture. At least he is not mocking him.

Elliotyael - February 14, 2007 06:22 PM (GMT)
I dont have a myspace, but a friend of mines does, and from what he tells me, there is a sea of impersonators on that place /oo\
it was only a matter of time before there was an 'Elliott' :/

sherwood - February 14, 2007 06:25 PM (GMT)

I agree. I don't care for myspace websites anyway but this is too weird!

Sorry to disappoint you, guys, but it's still there.

ElliottisTrueBlue - February 17, 2007 03:41 PM (GMT)
That guy on American Idol, Chris Richardson, MAJOR Elliott wannabe. Come on he's from Virginia, came in with the same hairdo and a green shirt, sang ASFY, etc.

Wannabe but he WON'T be :etrain:
