Title: Trying To Post A Comment
imthesame - February 11, 2007 08:25 PM (GMT)
I've been trying to posts comments for the last few days, but I can't get around to it, because I keep playing Elliott's new single while I'm on the computer and I need to stop and boogie and swoon and lose my frickin' mind while I'm listening. Through my entire life I have really not enjoyed background music - I either want silence or I want to really listen. Consequently, I don't even know if I enjoy music, because stuff I don't like really annoys me. When I like something - all I want to do is listen - that is Elliott's music - he pulls me from whatever I might be doing and makes me his own - I am putty in his hands (well voice, but I like the imagery). Really truly, doesn't he do this to you too. I must listen - I have no choice. Currently I turned off "Movin' On" so I could post this.

I KNOW you can't be complaining, imthesame! I DO have reasons to complain. I've NO sound, whatsoever and don't have a clue what to do about it. I've not even any computer internet connection @ home on weekends!!! I'm dealing with hard, cold putty right now! Ugh! :tantrum:

Oh no, I'm so sorry. I can't get YouTube to work - it keeps saying that I need to download the newest Flash Player and when I do it tells me I was successful and then the problems start all over again. Your problem is far worse, however, what can we do? I have no computer skills, but I do remember that somewhere deep inside the computer a question about sound exists (boy, I don't know anything, but my daughter's boyfriend is an expert and he's due to come over and help me). Maybe he can help you. He doesn't work Thursdays, so maybe then - so long to wait - by the way, you will absolutely LOVE Elliott's new single - anticipation - it is worth it.

Thank you. If these depths were to do with anything under the computer's settings, then all sound should be On. The speakers I have plugged in & the computer just tells me "hardware not found" or something to that effect, if I remember correctly. Probably wrong. My next big investment shall be a shiny new computer at home as soon as I have some more money! I can wait a mere 2 days, I've practically waited a lifetime to be a googly music fan!!

I wish I knew how to help with speaker problems. Everybody deserves to be able to hear Elliott! Maybe I'll do some research on the matter. :glomp:
