Who has the most wow factor for you?

For me its Celine Dion. Ever since her Eurovision appearance with "Ne Partez pas sans moi" she wowed me with her vocal talent.
Probably the best female voice out there.

For me it's Celine Dion.....Her voice is like an instrument....just amazing. :yes:

Hands down it's CELINE DION!!!!! :bounce: For me she's the most WONDERFUL, AMAZING, and PERFECT SINGER when it comes to a female!!!!! :yes: Well even compared to male or female singer :rolleyes: ...I just think her voice is so perfect and can never make a mistake. :D I so envy her. :) Whitney HAD a great voice, but not as good as Celine. :dance:

I disagree, I like Whitney's voice a lot better.
Celine has a great voice, no doubt, to me ,she just seems kind of wooden and lacks something to truly move me.
Whitney has a lot more "soul" and has had many songs that really meant something to me " I have nothing" is just one of them that comes to mind. :)

Against "I have nothing" i have to put "Just Walk Away" which for me is a very very emotional song. I actually always wanted Katharine to sing this. Too bad she didn't.

I love Whitney before his Bobby Brown life. She's really a superstar during her prime.

I like WH(she looks great in Bodyguard), and my ex-boyfriend likes CD so much!!!

I've always liked both, but, I would have to say Celine. For too long, Whitney has allowed her personal life to overshadow her talent. I really do hope she can get things straightened out & have a great comeback.

I'm not sure how to vote. Young, sane, sober Whitney>Celine>WhitneyAB(after Bobby). Celine has higher notes than Whitney ever did, but Whitney had more lows and IMO, a generally more moving style.

I actually appreciate both voices. Whitney has(d) a voice out of this world. Amazing soul.

You can't comapre those two. Both females are phenomenal singers.

Thats why i compare them, its hard to choose!!!

Whitney. I can appreciate that Celine is a great singer, she's just never appealed to me.

I love Celine, but I have to say Whitney. Even though she has certainly fallen off, she is still the one I think about when someone says "phenomenal", especially when I listen to all of her old songs. But Celine is great too...they both have wonderful talents! :cheerleader:

For me it is Whitney all the way (before Bobby Brown that is!). I loved her in the Bodyguard and she had such a powerful voice, it sends chills down my spine still. Unfortunately, I think Bobby ruined her in a way. Sure, they may love each other, but that doesn't mean he has been good for her! :bunny:

I think Bobby ruined her in EVERY way. :cry: Both of them had decent careers before the unholy union.

It's very sad...she really needs some help and so does he...Smokey Robinson went through a similar situation and said he hopes she gets her act together... :cry: :cry: :cry:

I bought Whitney's very first album, wore it out, I am just disappointed how she's handled herself lately. I have to admit, I was not crazy about I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU, when it came out, but can appreciate her talent for sure. Celine's voice is really amazing, her career choices have been smarter, the Vegas thing was smart move. I'm not a fan of OVER singing a song, it's a fine line. Like Christina's version of A Song For You is way OVER sung, but I love her voice too. Actually I think I like Christina best.

Mariah's in a league of her own, especially after comeback, I was worried after Glitter. I'm not a fan of Tommy M, I think he made things hard for her. No one can touch VISION OF LOVE!

Whitney, but pre-crack Whitney. Her voice was beautiful. Very full, and smotoh and she had great range. Very effortless when she sings.

Celine hands down, her range is better and I love the songs she chooses.

Sorry to say, but I didn't like any of Mariah's music after she did her butterfly album. I think this was when she went through her "breakdown". The thing that really turned me off was that video she did with Jermaine Dupri and Da Brat...she had on one of those red bandanas for her top...I was like, "What happened to Mariah?!?" I absolutely adore her stuff from the early to mid 90's (albums: debut, Emotions, Music Box, Butterfly, etc.).

Absolutely, why did she get with Bobby of all people on God's green earth!? *shakes head* I think she's ruined her beautiful voice with all that nonsense.

Celine Dion. I love her...Whitney was good before but now it is so hard to look past what she has become...but I still liked Celine better than Whitney even before the drug mess..

Celine Dion has a naturally magnificent voice.

Whitney in her prime... when she sang "And I will Always Love You" and held that note at the end... o.m.g.!!! Didn't she break Elvis and the Beatles record on the billboard charts? I think Boys II Men broke it too lol

i have to go with Celine, one of the best female voices ever, and arguably the best. Karen Carpenter will always be top voice for me.

I LOVE WH!!! But, that is before her drug habit and crappy marriage ruined her carrier.

But, I am still going to pick her over Celine. But, know that my vote goes to pre-bobby brown whitney :)

Based on their musical talents--taking personal lives out of the picture-My choice is Whitney! THAT GIRL CAN SANG! (saying it in a southern drawl!). Celine is great too, but for me, I loved Whitney from the beginning. Put all her Bobby, drugs drama aside--She is it!
