Title: Elliott's Fan Base

Has anyone noticed how diverse Elliott's "friends" on myspace are getting? I know that we joke sometimes here about being mostly women and sometimes it seems like a strong core of middleaged women at that - But we are seeing what we have always known - Elliott is really appealing to a very diverse group - internationally, age wise - even a lot of men are showing up over there :-)
I'm also seeing other musicians or groups interacting with Elliott - which shows the respect he is gaining with that segment.
This is exciting to me - these are people from all walks of life who say they will buy the CD and ultimately they will share it with others!
ps - seeing a lot of Taylor's fans showing up over there too - I always suspected that they would also support Elliott.

I've noticed the other musicians as well. It also appears that Elliott and his team are reaching out to other musicians because I have seen some posts indicating that they received an invite. Way cool!
In addition, he's increasing in friends at a rapid pace, or at least it seems to me that way.

Glad you heard it! They usually play it once a "shift" unless it's a nationally syndicated show. I still think it has not moved beyond Lite98 because of whatever issues are keeping it off I-Tunes. It was NOT released to radio, but a few stations will still choose to play it when they know the "coast is clear". As we have seen, many stations are overly cautious about playing music that hasn't been "released" but I think Lite98 has taken the path of playing it anyway and begging forgiveness later if they have to - they have the "hometown" card to play.

I still haven't heard it yet either. But all my friends who know what an Elliott nut I am are telling me all the time that they heard it. Lite 98 does go "over and above" with regard to Elliott. They have been playing bootlegged tapes of Elliott's Idol performances since the get go - and they are still playing them.

I'm very happy to see that Elliott will have a very diverse fan base. One thing I've been impressed about is the number of fans that are being added on a daily basis. Sometimes it's over 200 a day. I think this is so cool since Elliott does not have a song on the radio yet or has not made any appearances. Fans are coming out of the woodwork. Any thoughts on this?
