I don't know if this has been posted before but I found this exciting!!

I was just watching the videos of the new AI contestants from Season 6.

I just finished watching Jared Cotters (I think that is how to spell his name), sorry if I am wrong....but the first name is Jared.

They asked each contestant which former AI contestant do they relate to the most. Jared answered "I have never watched the show but my parents watch it all the time. Last year I was in the kitchen and they were watching the show and all of a sudden I heard this VOICE and I had to go see who had this VOICE and it was Elliott!!"

I loved that he said that. It just proved again that Elliott's voice shines!

I thought you all might want to go to the AI site and watch the video and keep an eye on this guy. I don't really remember him from the auditions but his favorite artist is Marvin Gaye, who is from my generation, the 1960's, so he must be his own person, like Elliott. Marvin Gaye has soul!!! Jared said he found Marvin's old music on YouTube. He must have a real ear for music. Marvin is no longer with us, tragically.

I am anxious to hear what Jared can do!

I don't remember him but I'm sure I will if I watch his video. Thanks for posting this. I'm difinitely am going to head over there and watch. I also heard that Paul Kim, the Asian guy is also a fan & said it made him audition.

When I started this thread, I hadn't heard all of the videos yet, so yes, Paul Kim said that Elliott was instrumental in him auditioning. Elliott has more fans than he realizes. I can't wait for Elliott to TRULY know and understand how many people he has touched.

Jared also mentioned that he thought he was hearing Donny Hathaway. You can't get a better compliment!
