Title: Posting Times

Is there a way to set these boards to show EST for myself? I'm not exactly sure but I see it showing hours ahead of my time. GMT?

Did I forget to fill something out to make it work for me?

TIA,

If you go into your Control Panel and click on Board Settings in the left-hand column, one of the things that will come up is a drop-down list of Time Zones and you can change it to the one that you are in.

Thank you, thankyouelliott :)

I knew there must have been a way. Now when someone says E is on the radio, I'll know what time it's posted.

I'm all set now.

When I clicked on the box that says "Daylight Savings Time is in effect", not only did it NOT change my time as far as putting me ahead by an hour, it also put me 6 minutes in the future! It is now 9:20 a.m. in the Central Standard Time Zone, but the time in my Profile said 8:26 a.m.! But when I changed my settings from Central Standard Time Zone to Eastern Standard Time Zone, it worked perfectly, my time is correct again. But I don't understand why I had to do it like that. Can somebody please clue me in? Thanks! :)

This is what MC told me:

"It's a complex issue and not much information given. The bottom line is that you need to install all patches for the early shift to DST from Microsoft and/or Apple and/or Sun (for Java)."

LOL...I just realized that my posting time was also incorrect...I kinda just played with it and I'm in sync now!
