This is pretty good y'all. THere are a lot of "older" songs above him, things that wouldn't chart on Billboard right now. And this is all without any radio play or an album release yet.

Is he still on the front page? I amso new to Itunes maybe I am not going to the right place to see this. I kept going last night to see him at #9 and then #6 on the R&B list and could never see it. I saw a top 10 but Elliott was not there. I kept thinking that I must have been in the wrong place. Any Itunes help regarding how to get to the ratings and top 100 would be appreciated. The download part I can do :)

There's really not a link that I can find Courtie - I tried to copy and paste the part of the list he's on - but I mucked it up - someone who's better at that will help you I'm sure.

He's at #5 on the RB/Soul list. This is really astonishing IMO since his radio single hasn't even been released yet and there have only been snippets of 3 other songs on the CD.

I know his fan base must extend beyond us and other fan sites. It really makes me wonder who they are and how they know about Elliott. I'm not questioning it because he should have a huge fan base. Just wondering is all.

Me too, lol - for the past two weeks I have been saying to myself - Who are all these people?

I don't care who they are as long as they love and support Elliott's music! I have a feeling the sales are going to surprise us when the CD is released!

I have a question, though: On the Elliott Yamin search page result, they list all of his songs with their popularity ranking. Is this a cumulative popularity, popularity for today, or what? I apologize if this has been answered somewhere.

To the best of my knowledge it changes. Someone may buy other E music and that
would change the popularity ranking!

Well, we all are kinda in our own lil 'bubble' here, so to speak. Not all of Elliott's fans that loved him on the show or the tour come to the internet to join fan forums. I think the majority are the casual fan, who love his voice & decided they would buy his album when he released it. Movin On being such a big hit & it's not even the 'official single', is a telling sign of Elliott's talent, his fan base & (I like to think) ETrain spreading the love! :wub: I mean, Elliott 'lost' to Taylor & Katharine by the slimmest margin ever...that shows just how big his fanbase is. Ain't it great?!

We need to buy some more to keep him close to the lead songs. It's hard to bounce back if the numbers went down. I think we need to be consistent.

This is truly E-mazing news! Just think about it. Most of these people purchasing are probably still familiar with Elliott from AI. There is a whole world of people who don't watch the show or aren't real iTunes savvy. When Elliott's CD comes out and when he starts getting some serious airplay - watch out!

If you needed proof that the E-Train is simply a little sampling of the people out there in the world who love Elliott's voice, and are ready to buy his music - here it is!

Well I disagree with this. Etrainers amount to peanuts in terms of driving up his sales rankings. If you want to help Elliott, spread the word that his song is out there. I'm hoping for more radio play to boost sales. I also think Movin' On sales will be helped by the release of Wait for You.

Well actually the early sales will indicate to the radio powers that people want to hear this therefore, pushing them to play it. So THIS is why it's important to buy on line as well.

OMG! I am ecstatic. I want to see him at the Grammy's next year.........on stage, accepting an award!
